Apostrophe Salon in St Paul, MN

I cannot say enough good things about Eric, my stylist at Apostrophe! He is an artist when it comes to color. I have a lot of silver going on (which he calls my "sparkle"), but I'm not yet ready to share that with the world. :) Eric stands back, surveys my hair, considers the options, and then offers his suggestions before diving in and making my hair look great. I am 100% happy with the results every time!

I have seen Eric regularly for haircuts for the past four years. Eric is a relaxed, down-to-earth stylist and really cares about getting things right. Prior to setting up my first appointment at Apostrophe Salon, I spent years (and a lot of time and money) going to specialty salons for curly hair. Eric was the stylist I was looking for all along, and I'm so glad I finally found him! The salon itself doesn't have many bells and whistles, but it's a clean, unpretentious and relaxing atmosphere.

D'anna did an amazing job on my cut and color! It was my first time here and I could not be happier :)

Curly hair alert! I should have run for the door when, despite asking for less than an inch taken off the overall length, I saw a six inch chunk of my curly hair fall onto my lap. When I expressed concern and reminded Eric that I liked chunky curls he said, "You didn't need that hair, trust me." So, like a fool, I did. When I got home and began looking at my hair I was in shock. Eric had went through my curls and cut off off about 80% of any given curl 4 to 6 inches up from the end. This left me with a head full of spiky, whispy, 4-6 inch rat tails that stick up all over. In addition, I had two places along the side and back of the cut where there were huge holes. I went back to have Eric try to fix what he could of this disaster. He did not apologize at all nor accept any responsibility. In fact, I was told that I had agreed to the cut since he had said that he was going to "open it up". Right, my bad, I was supposed to know that "open it up" meant hack it to pieces and ignore everything I had told you.

My daughter recommended D'Anna to me after she started seeing her for hair cut and color. D'Anna has been wonderful with helping me grow out my short hair and she always does great with the color even though I like to switch it up and change the color each time. I always like my results!
