Another Doggone Salon is the best around town. Marcie does and amazing job and takes pride in her work. I would not trust any other groomer with Mia!!!

Super impressed with this business. It's very clean and Marcie is a true professional. My dog Carly not only looked great but it's the best she has ever looked! Also the location is perfect, I used to go to Mary's grooming on Derry, which I liked them as well (they weren't consistent when it came to how my dog looked though) but trying to get in and out of there parking lot was the worst! I would definitely recommend this establishment if you're looking for all your needs being met when it comes to being please with not only how your pet looks but making them feel anxiety free.

I cannot tell you how wonderful Marcie is at Another Doggone Salon. My furbaby was a matted mess. Really she was a ragamuffin! She had surgery and was out of commission for over 9 weeks. No Grooming Allowed! So her final vet visit was this past Thursday and she was given thumbs up for grooming. However, we had an important party to attend on Saturday. The only day I had to do anything was Friday. I will never ever take her to a chain pet store for grooming. I made that mistake once at Petco and once at Petsmart. All they did was shave her down and she looked horrible. Marcie at Another Doggone Salon squeezed me in on Friday and worked on my pup for 3hours. She did everything to de-mat her fur. Not once was shaving her down an option. She used scissors, comb, and all her other tricks of the trade and the result was beautiful. My pup is soft, furry and smells soooo good . I give Marcie 10 stars. If you own a dog and want a real professional grooming for an amazing price GO TO ANOTHER DOGGONE SALON.

My pup, Mac, looks AWESOME!!! Mac is a bichon/poodle mix, going on 13 yrs old, and has curly hair! For years the groomers have just been shaving Mac and we were told it was because of his coat having knots here and there. Marcie did an AMAZING job on my pup and did not have to shave him!!! She took the time to work with his curls and condition him to sooth any knots he may have had which made it much easier to just trim him up. He is not a fan of his paws being touched, and they even look GREAT!! Marcie, thank you so much for an awesome cut on Mac. He isn't walking around the house with an embarrassing shave this time!! I am an a non-local, traveling with my spouse and 45 lb mixed lab/collie therapy dog for his work. I had a need to groom our pup and poured over the reviews in the local area to make my selection. I chose Marcie's business primarily because she appeared to have a soft spot for rescue dogs, indicating to me that she was opened to anxious behaviors in her clients. I don't have all the words to express how wonderful this experience was for both myself and our dog. First off, Marcie allowed me to stay with her during the grooming process as my dog is extremely anxious, as am I about leaving her with strangers. I got to know A bit about Marcie and was so moved by her story, skills and dedication. A pharmacist by trade and a Veteran from the Air Force, Marcie has chosen grooming as her new career. I learned that dog grooming does not require a license or formal training. Marcie sought out formal and rigorous training from a real grooming school. She continues to keep up on the latest trends and products by attending industry conventions. Her background in pharmacy really came thru as she understands how her carefully selected products work on a scientific level. She then applies that knowledge to the concerns you as the client express about your dog and what she sees when she evaluates your pup in person. Marcie's passion to grooming is all over her work-space. The equipment she had professionally installed includes both a table that raises and lowers for grooming AND a bath station that also raises and lowers...I felt this was a thoughtful addition for older pups who might not want to jump in and out. Her professional HAND dryer has multiple settings for intensity and heat.....really minimizing the risk of injury to your dog. Additionally, my pup was never placed in a cage with a station hair dryer blowing on her to finish the drying process, which many groomers seem to do. Although it takes much longer to dry a pup on a cooler setting AND by hand, that is exactly what Marcie did. My pups coat has never looks so glossy and felt soooo soft! All in all we were with Marcie for 2.5 hours of delightful doggy pampering. Her fee is unbelievably low.....almost embarrassingly so given the time, training and investment. It was both a pleasure and honor to spend the afternoon with Marcie. I wish I lived closer and could go monthly!
