So I had walked by many times before I decided to go in. He is always busy with someone so I figure it must be good.
I brought my 12yr old in. He had a last minute opening so he accepted us. I am impressed with his skills. He truly pour his heart on her haircut and took his time too. She came in with a messy long hair and she went out with only a few inches off and healthy looking hair.
The salon itself is small, minimal sitting, few magazines and products available too but he does have AC and a view of the street. Parking could be tricky as is strictly street parking. I recommend you do make an appointment because I do not think he does walk-ins.

I found David again by chance. He previously did my hair many years ago at another salon. His prices are reasonable and he is extremely knowledgeable with my textured hair. He did an excellent job with my last cut and color. One of the best cuts I've ever had. I'm writing this review today because he sent me home from his chair! I scheduled for a trim wanting to keep up with the shape of my style and he literally told me I didn't need to cut yet! Most salons would just take your money. David is special. I would highly recommend him to anyone with naturally curly hair or to anyone who wants personal service and an honest knowledgeable stylist. He may have a limited schedule but he is well worth the wait!
