5 Star Beauty in Clinton, MD

Let's just say. I'll never step a foot in this store again. They made me feel so uncomfortable while shopping. I made a stop at the dollar store 1st then needed to grab a couple items from the beauty supply store. I entered the beauty supply store & was greeted but stared down the entire time I guess because I had a bag in my hand . Then the lady came from behind the register to my aisle to ask can she help, I said no I'm just looking around I already know what I need then she left. While I'm feeling the different textures of hair on the display mannequin another Korean lady came in the same aisle I was in staring. At this point ,I'm feeling really uncomfortable so I grab what I needed out of that aisle and went to the next aisle to grab some other supplies. Then another lady approached me so I said do Y'all want to check my bags while I shop! Then the lady apologize. I started to put all my supplies down and just leave but didn't feel like driving to another store. I spent $30 and will never spend another dime there and will relay the message to family in friends. DO NOT SHOP HERE. YOU'LL BE LABEL A SUSPECT UPON ENTERING! I mean sheesh, how can you expect your customers to feel welcomed while making them uncomfortable to shop. That's the case they need to have the policy to check bags upon entering smh

Very helpful, friendly staff. They assist with finding anything you are looking for as well as provide recommendations. Great selection of products. I recommend this store compared to others in the area.

I love that they have everything, but they have the worst customer service I have ever experienced. The lady at the front desk said "It is too early for this" when I asked for something simple as a trash can. As a business owner, you should not work this early if you're still tired or not feeling it and treating your customers this way. Maybe you should work in another field that doesn't involve service. I hate that this beauty supply store is convenient but there is a Sally's and Beauty Max across the street that has given me superb customer service. So save your money and go across the street. Items are cheaper and customer service is amazing.

Staff is always very friendly, helpful and courteous!! Large selection of products. This store has quickly become my go to place for all of my hair care needs!! It's a very rare occasion that they haven't had what I was looking for. And in that situation one of the ladies in the store was able to recommend a comparable product. Whatever your needs, from hats to deodorant, vitamin e, eco gel,jojoba oil, wigs or hair ties...You name it, they've most likely got it. Even the products I use on my face, which are sometimes hard to find....they've got it!! And the prices are good!!!

All kinds of hair products for all kinds of hair treatments for people of all backgrounds. Lot's of makeup, fragrant oils, wigs, lashes, nail products, hand bags, eye glasses..and a ton more. It was pretty busy when I went in after having my grown out hair from my japzillian process restraightened. I wanted to find a sulfate free keratin or moroccan oil shampoo and conditioner. I found what I wanted plus more. Spent over $45 in products. I'd go back. Love stores like these. I look like a kid in a candy store when I go in.
