Nicole and Erin are the ultimate hair professionals. I couldn't be more pleased -- Nicole did my hair for my wedding in Willoughby Hills on June 15, 2019. Nicole was friendly and kind during my trial appointment. It felt like she was genuinely trying to get to know me. She listened to my vision and we tried a few different things. She and Erin were both so nice and professional during my first visit, I was convinced that they needed to be a part of my big day! Nicole and Erin were willing to start super early to do my hair and my two bridesmaids hair before my morning ceremony. They were both so flexible and super kind to my mom and brother, who also hung out with us during the early-morning appointment. They had coffee and small treats handy. I explained to Nicole that we didn't have a place close-by to get ready at, and so she made sure we had access to their bathroom and mirrors to get our makeup and dresses on. They even let my photographers come and take some pictures of the whole process. It just felt like we were at a friend's place, doing our hair! Not only do these businesswomen go out of their way to make the atmosphere calm yet fun, the work they produce is incredible. I felt so beautiful. I was thrilled with the half-updo Nicole did with my hair-- and it held up all day. My hair was big, flowy, and even better than how I'd pictured it. My bridesmaids looked absolutely gorgeous, too! Nicole and Erin create stunning hair masterpieces. Thank you, both, for making my big day a good hair day!! :)

I wanted to 2 things out of my visit. Getting my hair cut/colored and supporting a local business woman. Unfortunately, nothing turned out the way I anticipated to say the least. I was very optimistic about Nicole doing my hair, as a business owner. However, my cut was something out of a 1990s movie you'd never seen?! A diagonal straight line bob lol. My color was close to a Spanish gold when I wanted a frosted blonde highlights. And when she told me when I walked out that she took all of the yellow out, it was insult to Injury. My hair had started falling out a few weeks later. She never offer to redo it or schedule me. I got a full highlight and cut and she charged me so I had to tip twice for the service. As discouraged by her incompetence on top of being extremely unprofessional. I had to go see someone else and spend 300.00 at the end of the month on something I could live with. After all that I got my hair done by a very stylish professional at John Roberts who told me she put a base on my hair and that's why nothing is coming out the way I wanted. Nicole asked me several times what developer I use on my hair. Which I am clearly unaware of. Nicole also gave me tips to do with leave in conditioners that tore out my hair. I'm 30 yrs old. I don't have time or patience for any of this stress. It would've been "awesome sauce" to be able to go back to see her considering I'm 4 yards away. But I guess I just had considerably high hopes for this being so close and convienent. I guess if you're around downtown Willoughby you'll be happy to know there a lot of other salons that are wayyyyy more accessible, affordable and authentic.
