Would highly recommend this guy me and my dad went there today fast and old school I don't like a fast guy cutting my hair but he new what he was doing and good at his job not many ppl can say the use a scissors but from fading to blending he used it no Machine if your looking for a great cut at a good price I would go there good job

Great barber. Been there 36 years. Would definitely go back. Low maintenance and he did a great shave. Plus hot towel.

Absolute ass holes! they didn't know i understood Italian and i stepped in to ask for a hot shave and a trim they charged me 32$...Rip off and they new it because in Italian they were saying that they were going to surprise me with the price. Well guess what you guys just lost a customer and I hope you loose more. Anyone looking for a great haircut in the area should head over to the Katonah barber shop. You will be treated much better and you will get a way better hot shave and cut.

This is bar none, the best hair cut I've ever had.  I usually get my haircut at the mall, with a few exceptions of very special occasions or that stretch where i didn't live by the mall, but still didn't love the haircuts I got.  Suffice to say, when I announced to my mother I'd be getting a haircut, and she asked me where, and I said "the mall" she pleaded with me to go somewhere--anywhere--else.  I lamented "but there are no places!!!" Then she told about this place, which is next to where she gets her haircut (which is a salon and therefore not applicable to me, though she does get great cuts there).  I decided to give it a whirl.  

I arrived while the lone barber was working on someone else.  It was awkward at first because I didn't know the protocol--do I tell him I don't have an appointment? Do I tell him I'm just here for a haircut?  Ask if anyone else is available?  i opted for "just sit down and avert your gaze.  When the barber finished with the current customer, he did some sort of barber cape shake thing, and announced "next up."  So, I hung my jacket up and took my seat.

The barber would ask me what I want and I described it as best I could  (keeping in mind i've never gotten exactly what I want, so saying "like I have it now, but shorter and cleaner wouldn't work."), and he got to work.  I watched my head transform from random mess to "the head a person has."  It was a great experience from a true professional.  And just when I thought I was done, I got the straight razor clean around the ears, some lotion, powder, annnnnnd we're done.  Not only was it the best haircut I've ever had, but it was the best haircut I've ever had and it only cost $20.  I'll be back often.

Old school Italian barber.  Asked for a fade and gave me a crewcut-style shave.  Asked for hair to be combed forward and flipped in front, and he left it long on top in the back.  My hair gets wavy when it grows in, so this cut will leave me with a mushroom top.  Will have to use extra gel to keep it down and get another cut sooner than later to fix it. Sideburns were uneven (one slightly diagonal, one straight) so I had to fix them myself.   For $20 ($18 + $2 tip), I expect better. Won't be back.
