Thanh Hair Salon in Boston, MA

I have been coming here to get my hair cut for 20 years, since college days. I had almost everyone cutting my hair here before but I like Chi Hanh the best. I have thin hair so it's not great to work with. Hair cut is tricky, you gotta give people a few chances to work with you before they get it right. I think everyone is very friendly and hilarious here. I came for my hair appointment yesterday and they were all dyeing their hair, when I left the owner, A. Thanh offered me a container of soup he just made. Great hair cut and soup to go? Best experience ever. I also love that they don't pressure me to buy hair products. Always love the cuts and coloring. Price is very reasonable and haven't gone up much in over the years. I highly recommend this place.

Thanh has been cutting my hair for over 15 years and his prices have not gone up! A wash, blow dry, straighten, and cut is only $38!! Quality and precise cut every time-would highly recommend.

Found this little gem a while back in Dorchester, I can't believe I never notice it before. This is a small salon with multiple hair services and nails, I have tried a quite few Asian salons, I have to say this is one of the hidden gems in town. After trying more than a dozen times with the salon, I think it's safe to say they are very good with Haircuts and hair color, this includes root touchups and Ombre. The owner is a rockstar, did everything right with no fuss and reasonaly price.

I just got my hair cut here. I don't know what all the bad reviews are about. The man who cut my hair did a really thorough shampoo (with a great scalp massage) and then took the time to thin out and trim the ends of my hair. My hair was waist-length and is very thick. I'm trying to grow it out and keep it healthy. He did a great job and was very patient. Only awkward thing is there was a language barrier (I'm Chinese and he's Vietnamese), and at the end when I went to pay he thought I didn't want to tip him and I almost had a heart attack. But no worries the error was fixed and he got a well-deserved tip for great service! :o)

I had been here for hair cut with Donny many years for some reason he left the owner lied to me that Donny was on me on vacation and he asked me to cut my hair and and I let him a tried. Unfortunately , he ruined my hair very badly I was so angry and never come back . I don't recommend anyone to come here... Very sad and disappointed :((
