I really liked my cut with Nate but he was all over the place. Kept leaving to go somewhere during my cut at least 3 times. I paid a lot for someone who didn't give me his full attention and seemed easily distracted. Maybe lower his prices shag. Good cut though.
I got my hair colored and cut by Timothy Reidy. Such a sweet & funny guy, and he did an incredible job! 10/10!!!
If I could give more than 5 stars, I would! I've said it before, and I'll say it again. Timothy Reidy is so talented at foils that to see him at work is to see a great artist creating beauty his studio. In this case, the studio in which Timothy works is the stunning loft space of SHAG Salon in South Boston. Timothy's talent is only equal to his dedication to the perfect foil + cut + blow-dry; when I come out of the salon, my hair does not look as though it has been done, but rather as though I were naturally born with the coolest of blonde, buoyant locks worthy of the silver screen. SHAG is known for winning American Beauty Star - it also won Best of Boston 2019 and has been featured on MTV Made, Split Ends, Miami Ink, Animal Planet, and Chronicle - you can see why. When you go there, you'll feel like you are * on set * in this gorgeous, hidden (but really kind of famous) gem. Also, very important: Dog lovers, rejoice - because you may see a few furry friends at work at SHAG with their chic owners!!! Seeing the pups made me so happy.
I love this place!!!!!!! My stylist was Elle Powers she was amazing. Super friendly and very talented. My hair looks amazing. I had been wanting to get my hair evened out from a homemade mullet ish cut for a while, found this place on the internet, and decided to go. The vibe of the place is awesome (so is the music on the salon playlist). All of the people are super friendly and responsive. The reception/ booking people are super fast at responding. I booked my appointment via email within a half-hour. I also was looking for a product Elle used in my hair after the cut and the receptionist called me within 5 minutes of me emailing about the product, giving me the name and photo of it. Elle is a wonderful and SUPER TALENTED hairstylist. She was nice about my homemade haircut and fixed it up to the best it has ever been. love this place! Super recommend it.
