I got tired of all the last minute cancellations. My bad luck that these cancellations always happened before an important event.
I'm very disappointed that a place of business would treat customers so rudely. Yes, I was late to my appointment, but I thought it was on the half hour. (Who schedules on the quarter hour?) Anyhow, if you don't want to cut my hair because it is difficult to cut, why didn't you just say so? And forty minutes isn't long enough for a haircut? I've been greatly disappointed with the availability, suggestion, several cuts, and personal treatment I have received, so sorry--I'm taking my business elsewhere. BTW, I got a great cut in town for 1/3 price, so it's all good for me!
I have never written a public review before like this, but I am so shocked by my experience that I felt compelled to. I know the owner will likely see this & I hope that there can be some understanding rather than defensiveness. I went for a consultation first with photos showing that I wanted to be a golden blonde. I was told that I would get highlights and a toner. I will attach photos of my reference. Fast forward to my appointment. Instead of a warm, golden blonde, my hair turned ashy grey. Underneath, towards the base of my head, my hair looked streaky and grey. Anyone reading this can empathize with the notion that any change to your hair can be emotional. Imagine wanting to be a blonde and instead you turn grey. I was crying. I called 3 days later to come in & get my hair fixed. I was told that they were very busy and that the soonest they could get me in would be two days later at 8:45AM. I would have had the client in immediately to remedy, but I was understanding. I was slightly late to my appointment and did make sure to apologize for it. When I arrived, I was told that they would have loved to start earlier and that they were very busy. There's no excuse for being a little late, but guess what? I'm really busy too and if my hair was done correctly the first time, I wouldn't even have to be there. Shortly after I sat down, looking at my husband's car in the nearly empty parking lot, they said... we have clients coming that need those spots. Is he going to be sitting there? It was incredibly rude. He was just dropping me off quickly in a nearly empty parking lot. They took most of the ashy color away and I went home still not a blonde. I was told that my hair wouldn't look as natural if they had gone blonder/my roots would be showing more and that it would have been "way more expensive." What more can I do then go to a consultation and show photo references multiple times? I also never made a comment about staying within a certain budget so I'm not sure where that comment came from. I honestly feel slightly traumatized. On top of making my hair look dull & grey and not delivering what I asked for in the slightest, they made me feel like a nuisance when I came back with such passively rude comments. Will sadly never go back here. Will be going elsewhere to fix my hair. Feeling so shocked at my experience.
