Tian Salon in Las Vegas, NV

I sat there waiting for the stylist to finish and when he was done. He left me hanging for over 15 minutes. I left! Don't even bother...zero customer service!

One of the best haircuts I've had in a long time. I'm not from the area so I figured I need a little haircut for my vacation. I called and asked if could come right now and they took me and my daughter. We came on a weekday if that makes any difference. We got a cut and wash both done by Cory. $50's for a cut and wash. My daughter was $50's which was pricey for a child but hers turned out really nice as well. Very pleased with our cuts and glad we gave this little strip mall hair salon a chance.

Called to make an appointment with Tian at 1pm.  Arrived 15 minutes before.  He was eating lunch so i waited.  At 1pm he asked me to go with the other stylist.  I refused because I came for the cut with Tian not with someone I've never been to before.  He asked me to wait 5 minutes while he cut this other guys hair that was there before I arrived.  So i said fine.  20 minutes later, he finally finished.  I had my hair shampooed and cut.  I told him to keep my length long and had pictures to show him what i wanted.  He didn't really listen to anything i said. In the middle of drying my hair a lady (business next door) came in and asked him to help her with her fuzzy dry hair.  He stopped drying my hair and went to help her.  He gave her some oil and told her to rub it thru her hair and it should help.  She asked him to apply it for her.  So she sat down in a chair and he told me "1minute" and went to help her.  Making me wait yet again!  After my cut, I paid and left.  Making an appointment ment nothing to him.  Be prepared to wait even after calling for an appointment.  Never again.  I recommended him in the past but after today I won't be coming back.  Mainly because he chopped off my long length after i told him i want to keep it long.  So frustrating!  I'll go back to my other stylist who charges $30 for a shampoo and cut.  Tian charged me $60.  I thought I would help out my fellow Asian business owners but he would much rather make a paying customer wait again and again.  Not good business ethics to me.  So I won't be coming back here anymore.

Tim gave me a shampoo, blow dry and a haircut for $37. The shampoo bed ( not chair) was so comfortable. He speaks Cantonese and luckily I speak 4 different Chinese dialogues so I don't have an issue communicating but I like to show a picture anyway. My layered bob style he cut came out the way I like it.  I called ahead so did not have to wait that long when he finished up styling on another customer. Parking in the plaza could be a chaotic during lunch time so around 2-3 pm was much better.

Speaks Chinese, satisfies mom and serves the older Chinese generation and modern. No complaints and it's conveniently located next to a foot massage place and a boba place.
