Tori cut my hair and she did a great job. She helped me work through what I wanted and listened to all my thoughts and preferences. The salon has a hip vibe, but not cold. The staff are all warm, friendly, and happy to help you. Of course, being West Chester, parking isn't the easiest, but if you arrive early and circle a bit, you can find a street parking spot.
This salon/barbershop is a pleasant surprise; the atmosphere is relaxed and the stylists are skilled and friendly. I went to Allison, who is a curly hair specialist. I have frizzy, Hars-to-manage hair. She was EXCELLENT -listened carefully to all my concerns and showed me how to bring the best out in my hair. She adjusted the color and gave me a beautiful cut and blow- dry... along with advice on how to keep my hair healthy. I will definitely be coming back to her!

totally ecstatic about my first experience at refinery! Bexx was my stylist, i walked in not totally sure of what i wanted but had an idea and Bexx brought my foggy ideas to life! i seriously could not be happier with my hair. they snatched my curls to the gods on top of everything, which was just incredible considering most stylists i've gone to don't understand curly hair. Bexx was also juggling a ton of management duties super calmly and swiftly while doing my hair (which took about 2-3 hours!!) and it was genuinely so impressive to see! Will absolutely be returning !!!!
I stopped at Refinery Hair Studio 4-28-21@1210 to make an appointment JUST TO MAKE AN APPOINTMENT! . There were 4 stylist on duty and I wasn't even greeted..too cool to greet a new customer.., I didn't make an appointment. I stood there for 5 minutes (with a baby stroller), pretty hard to miss.. I'm not interested in the vibe, the music or the coffee. I just wanted to get a haircut. These people are rude, the closest stylist was 5' away. Believe what you want..I can only imagine what would happen if you complained about your haircut. I wish the shoe repair store was still there, he was a nice guy.
