Big League Haircuts in West Chester, PA

Worst service I have ever had at any salon. Vicky was cutting my hair and I was telling her how I wanted the cut. For no reason she got mad at me. All I said was I wanted little shorter. Three times I had to explain her. Then I said this is the first time you are doing my hair but now you know next time will be easy. Out of no where she said so rudely there will be no second time. I said fine I still gave her $5 tip. And left. I felt so humiliated and insulted as there were other people in the room also. So bad.

Walked in at 1035 am on a Thursday to find the place empty. Thought that was a good sign I would get my hair cut. But no!, I need an appointment!!! There is a damn sign on the window that says walk-ins welcome. WTF . Your shop was empty, 10 minutes to cut my hair and you turned me away. I sat in the parking lot looking for somewhere else to go and guess what, no one showed up!!!! They could have finished my haircut by the time I found a new place. This place sucks donkey shit.

I was looking forward to getting back to a new haircut after going GREEN for COVID Pandemic. I approached the shop and just as I was about to enter an employee was walking out at the same time. She asked me if she could help me in a customer service sorta friendly way while holding the door preventing me from going in. I told her I was there for a haircut (Monday mid-afternoon). She asked, "Do you have an appointment?" I said, "No, I did not. I didn't know I had too!" She said, "You absolutely have to have an appointment with this virus going around!" "And it takes months to get in here too!" Said in a real wise-ass way as if I was ignorant to the world conditions. Just as I said, "I guess I can't get a haircut!" someone inside (an employee) laughed at me saying, "You're a fool if you're coming in here without an appointment!" Absolutely no one was around. They were all sitting around chatting up a storm. I just walked away in absolute disgust. Amazed by their juvenile behavior towards me. Now, thinking about how many times I have solicited this establishment for over ten years, yes 10+ years. Let me think, every other month equals 6 times a year, times ten years.....plus all the tips, recommendations and nice things I have said to many different people in my life looking for good hair-cutters. It doesn't add-up. You now just lost a long time customer for life! Your spontaneous outburst, lack of professionalism and unwillingness to recognize a longtime customer leaves me with the impression you should close your shop, lay-off everyone and rebrand because you are not the shop you used to be!

I've been bringing my son here for a few years. Vicki is the best. She remembers the kids and is really friendly. He always gets a great cut.

I've been a customer for over a year. Sarah does a great job for me. I previously had been going to Calista Grand and honestly Big League does just as good for less than half the price. Also, it's way easier to get an appt. Fully recommend this place.
