Went to Art this evening too have him fix coloring on my dreadlocks. First and foremost the studio- OMG so beautiful. The plants, crystals, exposed brick, floors, artwork, and all of the furniture (which are also works of art) ties everything together into a vivacious atmosphere to sit for hours while your hair is being attended to! Art is also incredibly enjoyable to talk with which makes the experience that much more enjoyable. You can feel his love for doing hair through his conversation and the due diligence of energy and work he puts into your hair! I would highly suggest Art! Also, another bonus to this positive experience is that it's affordable!

With Art's color and cut, Art has taken 10 years off of my appearance. Art has changed my life all for the better! Allow me to explain.

The past 10 years had been extremely difficult for me (that is, caring for my dying parents). I felt that the long-term care-giving had drained me and prematurely aged me. I could not look in the mirror without seeing a much older me. My youth and handsome good looks were gone.

As it turns out, Art is a great listener. He totally devoted himself to me while I was there in his beautiful salon. I have never been so well-attended by any hair stylist. Art made me feel not like a client, but as a friend.

When Art was finished, somehow, as if by alchemy, Art's styling of my hair made me feel like a younger, more handsome version of myself. The tremendous burden of caring for my parents did not wear down upon my appearance. I never thought it was possible to regain the self-confidence I lost, but now regaining my handsomeness has restored a sense of possibilities in my life that I felt that I had also lost. For example, I thought that I would never date again or find another relationship. Now I see that those old thoughts aren't true. I can date again (namely, the worst of all personal experiences)! And I will!

I never thought I would enjoy the level of self-confidence I had once had. Art's coloring and styling of my hair has taken me out of my shell. I still cannot believe it when I look in the mirror. I thank the universe for steering me to Art.

I cannot say enough good things for this salon.  Everyone is so friendly and the service is exceptional!  Tai is amazing and knows how to color and tell you how exactly to take care of your hair.  She does not always do what you want, she does what is best for your hair and it shows in the results!  She cares about you and your hair so I listen to her intently knowing she has my best interest at heart.  She goes out of her way to make sure you are taken care of!  I highly recommend her and the others in her salon!

Art is a very nice man and a very talented artist. He takes his time to make sure he does his job right with precision and excellence. He gave me a great cut and made my hair healthy again. Thank you Art!!

Got a great new bob haircut and a rich new violet color from Art this morning.  Art is very warm and caring.  The salon in the Los Feliz section of Los Angeles is airy and modern.  He will give you a glamorous style, and you'll walk out with a smile.
