I had been looking for a quality barber and salon since moving from out of state and the search is over! Art and his shop have a uniquely wonderful atmosphere, it's bright, open, and full of art, plants, & passion. During my appointment Art was attentive and clear on what I wanted done, and once the cut started the conversation was brilliant to top it all off. Extremely happy with my cut and definitely will be back when it's time to color! Highly recommend!

I arrived at the salon and immediately loved the open space and beautiful large green plants and decor. I had to wait a bit because Art was running behind on a hair project he didn't anticipate would take so long but since I was visually stimulated with all the great reading material and his excellent music playing in the background I was "happily distracted" til it was my turn to be seen. *sidenote: Art gifted me upon leaving with an amazing tub of Mega Moisture Deep Conditioner as a token of appreciation for me having to wait some and I really appreciated that! I spoke with Art about the kind of look I wanted and he immediately suggested a "long wolf cut" and after checking it out online I was excited. Funny enough when it was time to start cutting I started showing some nerves about adding too many layers and Art pointed out that "I couldn't build a hairstyle around wearing a ponytail." Lol!! And he was right! He did an amazing job at my cut and when I got to see it I was so happy I went for it. I can't wait to come back for some more layers in the back and highlights next! I cannot recommend enough ! I live down the st from Art's salon ; I'd walked by it every day. early this year, my hair was desperately in need of a cut to even out long layers. So i decided while walking by, what the hell? went in to just check it out / ask prices. both the the space & Art were super welcoming . He encouraged me to take a seat right then & there. "I'm very good at this; I promise you'll love your haircut, " he assured me. The man did not lie. i rarely write reviews on Yelp ; before Art, I'd rarely leave the hair salon without feeling " Wtf, why'd i just spend a million bucks for a cut that honestly doesn't FEEL like a million bucks... ?!" How I felt leaving this haircut demands a review (better late than never!) Walking out of this hair salon : "Now THAT is $$ well spent -- I got a true WORK OF ART framing my face !"
