Love this spot! John is the one who does my hair and is very attentive. Him and everyone who works there. Everyone is so nice and welcoming. Would def recommend! The price and experience is worth giving a try if you haven't! :)

yeah this was an awful place. first red flag should've been there was absolutely no music in the salon whatsoever i took my sibling here to get their haircut and they showed the ONLY hairdresser in the store the reference photo, he looked at it once and never again--and then just went to town. left them with the choppiest and most uneven layered cut of their liiiiffeee. if i could give zero stars i would. lol

This salon is the best in the bayonne area. Hair color and stylist is top notch. Also Does Botox Treatment on hair and comes out beautiful as my daughter does it once a year here. This is your go to salon for top service for your hair!

I live in Hoboken and was visiting my goddaughter in Bayonne when I decided my hair needed a color touch up. I googled hair salons and decided to try Venus Salon. When I walked through the door I was greeted warmly and offered a wonderful cup of coffee, (not a coffee drinker... you can have a Coke instead). I chatted with John about my hair, it is thick with a wave and unfortunately tends to be frizzy. I have traditionally had Brazilian Hair treatments and I mentioned that I would be needed another one in June before the humidity begins. John and I discussed this at length, he analyzed my hair and recommended that I switch to a Botox hair treatment. He told me how he became interested in becoming a hair stylist and his approach to customers. "It's not only about the hair it is about the person". "One needs to be perceptive and a good listener". We also talked about the dreaded decision of letting my gray hair grow in, (which I will consider when I am in my 70's, I am 61 now and have been coloring the gray professionally since I was 25). John showed me different hair styles that would suit the shape of my face and would not require a lot of styling as I have no talent with styling my hair. I completely trusted John with my hair, I not only had him color it but I also had him cut my hair and blow it out. He did a phenomenal job on my hair!!! I highly recommend him an the Venus Hair Salon. Hoda - the assistant in the salon did a great job on waxing my lip and eyebrows and she also assisted with the blowout. Armani is in the shop as well and he is a very nice person. I think Venus is the best salon in Bayonne, it is absolutely worth the trip from Hoboken!
