I'm so glad I found a new hairstylist, Lorena is great, she understands me and what I like and dislike, I usually get a haircut once a year but just this year, I've gotten my hair cut twice and every time I go, my hair feels very light and healthy. So happy, plus it's close by to work. The shop is in a small shopping center next to a nail salon. The lady that cuts my hair is the owner, she is very friendly and great.

I bought a Groupon for a women's haircut and style for $29 and the fine print says they charge from $17-$27 extra depending on the thickness, density, texture and length of your hair. When the owner called me I told her that my hair doesn't apply to that fine print because I don't have long or thick hair. She then goes on to tell me that even if I wanted layers that I would be charged extra. Never in my life have I heard of a salon doing that. RUN don't walk away from this salon! The Groupon price is not honored because they automatically will charge you extra $17-$27. So, unless you're getting a bowl cut, you will definitely be charged extra. So glad I was able to cancel my Groupon order!

I purchased a groupon (One Women's Haircut with Style) before the pandemic and was so happy to redeem once Vell Garnet was able to open. I moved to NJ recently and didn't have a salon anymore. I'm very happy to say I do now! The groupon was very clear as far as what was included. I knew I would be charged an additional $15 for the length of my hair. I appreciate Vell Garnet being up front with their pricing. I felt comfortable with the covid protocols (temperature check, sanitizer, masks). Lorena was great! She gave me a wonderful haircut and blowout. My hair felt light and silky. I suggest trying this salon for yourself and looking on groupon for the best deals possible!

I have been going to Lorena for over 10 years. I am very picky about my hair and its cut. She is the first person I have completely trusted and feel she has done an excellent job every time.

If you're looking for a high quality, overall awesome salon, LOOK NO FURTHER!! Vell Garnet Hair Studio is just simply the best. Lorena the owner has been doing my hair since 2011. I've followed Lorena from salon to salon over the years. I was very happy when she opened up her own salon, definitely well deserved. It is a very warm and inviting experience from when I walk through the door to when my session is finished. I don't trust my hair to anyone else. Lorena is not only very professional but also very knowledgeable and always on top of her game! She is an absolutely amazing colorist and stylist, and overall such a sweetheart! She rocks my hair every time I go see her and I've loved everything she does for me. You'll fall in love with her just like I did. I highly recommend!!
