Trendz Hair Salon in Burlington, WA

I am beyond impressed with this place. The parking lot is good size and the interior of the salon is quaint but beautifully decorated and kept very clean. They offer a good selection of retail hair care items as well as makeup and other little treasures. They got me in last minute which I really appreciate and I was so impressed with Julie the hair technician, I will be seeing her again when I am in need of a haircut. She took the time to listen to my concerns, gave me her valuable and professional opinion and then provided me with a five star haircut. She made sure I was happy before we were done which I really appreciate. And on top of that she is such a kind person. And let me tell you I went in with a bit of a mess from trying to cut my own hair and she knew just what to do. Thank you Julie and the Trendz team! I highly recommend this business and Julie is a rockstar.

This review is LONG overdue! Sending a huge shout out to Shannon McGovern and Julie Suomela, who provided excellent service to me when I visited from out of town in late October desperate for a color correction and quick trim needed badly after several weeks on the road. They worked together to turn me into a new woman. It took a long time to fix the brassy mess that had become of my hair, and I appreciated that they were not going to let me leave until I looked and felt great. I was so pleased with the result, and here it is in mid-December, and my hair still looks great. I only wish I was still in town to go back to Trendz again for a touch up before the holidays. I highly recommend this salon and both Shannon and Julie. Thanks so much, ladies!

Owner attitude is terrible. Pricing is all over the board. One time toner is included but next time you are charged. All depends who you get. Owner tried to say toner was explained in the beginning and when I said I'm Sorry I wasn't there because I had to work but sent my teen daughters to get their hair done because we have been multiple times before but then get told "we'll maybe you should have been there!!" Owner doesn't appreciate its customers. She is beyond rude. When questioned why your kids were charged more than normal the owner says "this isn't let's make a deal". Why would you say that to a customer? Professionalism is lacking at this salon. Stay away and find somewhere else to go that will treat their clients with respect!

got my hair cut after years of growing and not touching it at trendz hair salon by crystal and she did such a great job and did the best light cut! really listened to what i wanted and told me what i needed and gave me good products suggestions. Crystal herself was awesome super nice and was great to make conversation with such a great environment, the salon it's self was very nice and cute aswell! overall a great experience.

So dissatisfied with my haircut. I showed the lady (neck-length short blond hair) a butterfly cut style. Instead she cut it like an Asian Mullet! I did not get a chance to look at my hair cut at the salon because she decided to curl it first instead of showing it to me. I went home to straighten my hair because it was too curly. Saw the results & was immediately disappointed. It looks horrendous. Too many chopping short layers by my neck. I want a refund! Not worth the $50-$60 for a terrible job. Makes me wonder if she purposely curled my hair to hide her terrible job because she knew it looks nothing like the picture I showed her.
