I would actually give this salon zero stars due to poor customer service. I witnessed my financee go between both salon locations be be treated in a highly unprofessional manner. She called the Pottstown location initially for an appointment but was told they were booked. Then she called the 2nd location and booked an appointment. 5 minutes later, the 2nd location calls back and informs her that they could not accommodate her with the requested services. Why couldn't you have stated that when she booked it??? The receptionist / bookers at both locations also need to pay more attention to what they are doing. I heard her restate the services she wanted 7 times in the span of 2 minutes!!! Let's get it together!!! You lost our business and will lose more in a competitive economy where we have a lot of options.
I loved my experience at Salon Twenty Two! I booked an appointment with Nicole, who me and my grandmother have been going to for ages. She is so sweet, and so talented! I have very long curly hair and hadn't gotten it cut or done in so long, and really wasn't sure exactly what I wanted to do with my hair or at least how to articulate it. Nicole asked me a few questions to get a better idea of what I had in mind, and it was like magic! My hair is like new- healthy, with new layers, and with balayage/highlights! It was like she read my mind. The salon itself is beautiful and everyone there was so sweet. I even purchased some new hair products there that I can't wait to try out. Can't recommend this place enough, go see Nicole!
This is by far the best local salon I've ever been to and i don't plan on ever going anywhere else. I find that most of the stylists who have cut my hair are very dedicated to doing the most thorough job possible. I love that they don't push product sales but rather let the results speak for themselves. The kids haircut specials every Friday are a unique service as well. So far, I've had amazing experiences with Nicole, Brooke, Gina, and Dani. I think Nicole and Brooke can be found at their second location, The Retreat, now. If you're looking for a special salon experience with stylists who go above and beyond to make you look and feel beautiful/handsome, this is the place to go.
I feel so bad for my daughter. She spent her savings to get her hair and well....got nothing out of it. The color was barely noticeable that day, she got balayage done. The cut, she wanted dramatic layers, layers weren't noticeable, and it was uneven. It has been a couple weeks and her heart is still broken....never again. They should have at least taken extra since it was a teenager that wanted to do something for herself, and was spending her own money. Ridiculous. It has been a couple weeks and her hair looks no different than it did before she got it done. Never again, now I have a heart broken daughter.
