I have been have been a client with the Color Bar Salon and Maria Lovoie for over a year and a half. She always did a great job and I tipped for her amazing work. Recently she toned my hair after I mentioned that the last the toning dulled my hair. She agreed and changed the toner. I asked her if it would be fine to have her look at my hair as the hair dulled again. She agreed to have me come back and look at it to add highlights Today she text messaged me and decided since I was not able to come in on a Friday she would cancel me as a client and refund me go the last appointment.
I absolutely love this salon! The girls are hilarious and talented!! I will be going here from now on!!
I have been a loyal Colour Bar client since 2006 & of course followed Maria to their new, beautiful & spacious location. Maria, Michelle & Sarah make a wonderful team & have created a professional, clean & inviting experience at The Colour Bar. Maria is an expert with her knowledge of hair color techniques & I truly appreciate her explanations of what to expect & my end result is always gorgeous!! I highly recommend Maria & The Colour Bar Salon!
There were many positives to hair appointment. I felt comfortable with my stylist, she was very professional yet not gossipy, she was friendly and knowledgeable and you can tell she loves what she does. However, I was quoted one price at the beginning, $120 and by the time we were done it came to $250. That's a whopping difference that my wallet wasn't prepared for. I had another appointment scheduled and missed it due to having surgeries after a bad fall. When I tried to reschedule I was told that her "financial loss" was too great and she wouldn't make one with me. I was disappointed as I originally thought she cared about her customers but really only cares about the money. Why Maria wrote a response to my review as though she wanted me to return, after my appointment was missed only shows the deceptive lengths she's willing to go through.
I had a wonderful experience as a first time client with Sarrah! The salon itself is clean, spacious, and beautifully decorated. The ladies are taking the necessary precautions to keep themselves and their clients safe and healthy. Sarrah gave me the best cut and color I've had in years. She also excels in customer service and great conversation. I look forward to being a long time client at The Colour Bar!
