Got my hair done here a little over a year ago. I got a few things to say. The owner is extremely rude. She doesn't care about her costumers unless the person is a celebrity or well known. She was very aggressive with her hands. I asked for a trim and this lady cut off like 5 inches! I got beaded extensions also and they ruined my hair. Please save your money and time. Got charged to dye my hair. After she dyed it I guess she discovered the mix of the Brazilian blowout and the dye were not compatible. Because I heard her gasp & tell her mother look what happens when she goes over 360° (which is like nothing) on the straightener. The dye completely comes off!!!!! So she sais " "oh by the way don't go over 360°on the straightener or the dye will come off" like .... Don't you think you should've told me this before you charge me $450 ???? including haircut to do my hair? I have followed directions to the T and the dye still came off!!! There's brown blotches all over my head mixed with black ( what it was supposed to be ) I can't believe she just expects me to eat this and then has the audacity to charge me $25 extra because my hair is long after I already sent her a picture and had her cut off a lot. She's not nice always looking at me sideways never humble or grateful for my business. I can't believe how she just rob me for my money and expects me to eat this. I would complain or try to say something but you know what I am just done with this treatment my hair is completely blotched out brown patches everywhere. And the haircut was very lazy she tells me at the end do you want the ends tapered? I didn't understand what that meant but then she said no I don't need it ( I think she did that just to save her five or 10 minutes because she doesn't care) I understood when I left what she meant because my layers are so choppy it looks like they were cut with a knife yes now that I understand I wanted the whispy layers that's what I paid for but nothing is worse than this issue with the little heat stripping my hair of all the color. Not fair not a way to treat people or give service shame on you. & if you discovered how the little heat stripped the dye you should of atleast try to make things right then & there not charge me full price & just send me on my way all nonchalantly. It's bad business & even though your always booked you shouldn't treat people with an attitude like you don't need them. & I could hear her laugh & talk to her co worker like " why would you come to a salon with an attitude when they basically have your life in their hands" I guess she was referring to me because she always acts like I have an attitude even though I try to be as nice as I can. Like why would you even say that like if you were going to mess up someone's hair on purpose? Mind you the last time I came was like two years prior and she cut my layers backwards I felt like it was maybe an accident but after that comment I thought maybe she did it on purpose. It took me two years to grow my hair all one length and even tho the layers were in a correct direction this time she chopped off a whole lot more than I anticipated again this time when I specifically said I wanted low layers they're super high it's gonna take years just to come back to the length I want I'm not trusting her anymore.

My haircut by Val is unnoticeable and I have as many split ends as I did before my appointment. Experience- awkward. I arrived on time but since Val double booked during my appointment I had to wait 15 minutes for her to seat me. Once I was seated she asked what I want done, had another woman wash my hair (which I'm used to in salons but usually the person doing my hair will greet me, ask me what I'm looking for, give suggestions, ask if I'm going anywhere after my appointment - for styling). When I tried making small talk she cut me off and most of my appointment was spent with the woman who washed my hair or waiting for her while she ate hot Cheetos the whole time and scrolled on her phone or socialized with the other girls. I felt like I was an annoyance to her day. She then trimmed my hair and less then 10 mins later the woman who washed my hair started blow drying, she then trimmed my bangs & started taking pictures & videos of my hair for her social media (without my consent or even saying a word about it), she charged my card and I left. She spent a total of 10 mins max on my hair. The cut- at the time I thought the cut was decent (which was why I tipped 20%) but once I washed out the blow dry style I noticed how little she did. I asked for layers & a trim for my split ends. I have just as many split ends after the cut as I had before. I can't notice any layering. It looks like she cut off half an inch from the bottom and blended it out and that's all. My friends who have seen my hair agree that I definitely got ripped off. I'm sad that my result & experience were so wack because I was hoping to go to Val long term. I have long hair that I spend a lot of time and money on my hair to maintain its health but I definitely would never recommend someone pay over $100 to get a trim and rude service.

I don't really like writing bad reviews but I'm not happy with the way my hair turned out. I showed Val a picture of what I wanted and ended up getting something completely different. The color is no where near the same as to the photo that I showed her and didn't get the top highlights, which I also mentioned I really liked.. I know it's not going to come out exactly the same but obviously I wanted something similar and didn't even get that. I feel like she didn't really pay attention to the photo of what I wanted and she did her own thing to my hair... it's still nice but I'm so unhappy that it's NOT what I asked for... I'm so sad about my hair :( it's been years since I let someone touch my hair and for these main reasons. I had high hopes but I just won't be considering this place anymore.
