STUDIO 571 HAIR ARTISANS in Princeton Junction, NJ

I have a negative experience with this hair salon. I scheduled an appointment for a haircut. I went 15 minutes late as I lost track of time but I called before I went to make sure that I still can keep my appointment. I have a very curly hair, I showed Laura a picture of my desired haircut, she decided to dry cut my hair then shampoo it. the haircut didn't look good. I asked if she can blow dry my hair so we can fix the cut, but she explained that she was busy and have other appointment. I was told to go home and call them back. I did the following day, I called to schedule a blow dry and fixing the cut, but they told me that they are booked for two weeks. terrible service. I will never go back again. even if the stylist didn't know what she was doing, or if it was mere luck, customer service socked. Really too bad!

I decided to take the plunge and get a short haircut. Joie was very encouraging and supportive. I love the results and enjoy my wash and go cut. A few months have passed and last week I decided to go super super short. I cannot believe the rave reviews! My husband tells me at least 5 times a day how much he loves my new do. I have been getting compliments everyday- even from strangers. Joie and her staff are friendly and professional and the salon is stunning. I used to get my hair cut at a top salon in NYC. No more! This IS a top salon.

Absolutely fantastic experience overall, great team and atmosphere. I have very long fine hair and wanted to go 2-3 shades lighter. Joie created the perfect shade, but also made sure my hair stays as healthy as possible. Highly recommend this salon, also thanking Christa for an outstanding pre and post customer experience.

I have been coming to Joie for years, and was so glad when she opened her own salon. The space is light and airy, and is decorated with Joie's artistic sense of style. I have had practically every hair service offered, from cut, to color, to keratin treatments and have always been absolutely thrilled with my results. I have sent numerous friends, who have also been highly satisfied. The salon coordinator, Krista, is schedule extraordinaire, works miracles with my crazy work schedule and is always ready with a nice cup of warm tea.

Visiting from California, I needed to "cover my platinum highlights" (as Joey would say). Made an appointment with Joey at Studio 571. Easy access to the salon with ample parking. Studio is very clean. Staff is so friendly and personable, I felt I had been going there for years! Joey evaluated my hair, provided her recommendation, and implemented her plan. I left loving my hair again!!
