Will not be returning ever again . Go for cheap service. Get cheap service. (Ended up going to another stylist that was an extra 250 fthat gave me exactly what I wanted with the info I needed for my hair) I came in for a hair dye on non-virgin hair. I already knew what to expect going in with the patchiness from a previous dye and dampness from my hair going in (sat under a dryer, no issue with that) . My problem was with the service from the stylist and process. Not having knowledge about my hair and doing many experiments with products, I finally decided to come in for a trim and to dye over what mess my hair was prior. All while asking how to maintain my hair in its dry and frizzy state. (SHE WAS NO HELP WHATSOEVER) "something moisturizing" was a consistent answer. Like really lady? You see my hair. Okay I ask "is there a way to fix the texture problem?" No helpful answer. I just stopped asking. I chose the owner of the salon to do my hair expecting more than I should have. I seriously could've done this at home. Hair is finished and I'm not liking my hair at all but understand things can be fixed so I give a question one last shot after I pay. Now I ask for a product recommendation for my hair for the 4th time "try some cantu with avocado" . Like that product line was going to do something for my hair in its state. You were no help Tonya. I will not be returning and really hope people do not run into the same problem.

Unfortunately, there was a noticeable disparity between my requested service and the actual execution during my recent visit. Despite specifying medium braids and providing a reference image of 'smedium' goddess braids, the stylist insisted on the original medium braids. Additionally, "Smedium goddess braids" wasn't an available option on the app. Upon arrival, both the stylist and the owner showed inflexibility, with the owner expressing frustration, assuming I was solely dissatisfied with the braider. This resistance to adaptability and presumptive stance added to the overall dissatisfaction with the service. Despite consistently booking in advance, the unwillingness to accommodate a reasonable adjustment is disappointing. This lack of flexibility, particularly considering my history of reliable appointments, reflects poorly on the customer service. Moreover, it's important to note that the owner's response was particularly rude. Instead of addressing the concerns, they insisted that I was in the wrong, further exacerbating the negative experience. This lack of empathy and professionalism from the owner contributed significantly to my disappointment. I've been coming to Strandz for about a year now. I tried a few salons, but none better than this one. Once I landed on this one, I knew I was staying put. I always look forward to coming in for my re-twists. For not only the re-twist from the very talented Jocelyn!! But for the vibes that Jocelyn, Tonya and Candice bring!! Jocelyn's taken care of my hair better than anyone and has taken a lot of time and effort to get my dreads just right. Trying different things until we found what worked best for me. I give Strandz 5 stars and would recommend them to anyone and everyone...

Their family great environment love Jocelyn she deals with my tender head best hair braider and love tonya she does the best hair styles very funny and love Candace she feels like my auntie very patient hair and Jocelyn best hair braiders I've seen.

I've been coming to Strandz for a year now and luckily got connected with the best braided around the area. Jocelyn is a very talented stylist and is always challenging herself with different techniques. She and all the other women there are awesome and make it a fun place to be while being in there. I always walk out with a smile on my face. :)
