I usually go to Dansy to style, color or cut my hair and she always does an amazing job . Place is spacious, calm and welcoming. My Dominican blow out lasted a week or so could've lasted more if I didn't wash ! I love it here .
I had an appointment with another hair salon and after they dry cut my hair and said so many bad things, I left with out my color or finishing the hair cut. I called Stars and Nancy took me right away and even carved out time for me to get the hair color highlights and low lights. The staff is all so friendly and since moving down here I was struggling to find someone I trusted to do my hair. Nancy did an awesome job, fixed the cut and I couldn't have been more happy with her service!
I got home and cried. I'm on my way to another salon right now to see if they can salvage what is left of my hair. I just wish I could get my $22 back. Edit: Now that I think about it, I don't even recall seeing any licenses for the hair stylists. My haircut also lasted less than 10 minutes, but I asked for plenty of highlights, which should've taken much longer, especially since I have long thick hair. The second salon said that they've had people come from the mall to get their hair fixed too.
Love Stars Salon, especially Gina = who is always willing to do whatever I ask for, make it look great, and cuts so it also grows in well. I have very wavy hair and that is really hard to do, especially with clippers, but Gina manages it. Oh and this is another place I drive two hours for. When you find a person who listens to how you want your hair cut and does it without imposing their own "vision" on you and your hair, you it is worth the effort to get to them.
