Just had my eyebrows threaded. The lady didn't even look at them before going to town and taking half of them with her. Wanted thick with an arch. Instead I basically have no eyebrows and missing half of the other one. Avoid!
I wanted volume , she gave me flat hair, why would you blow dry hair the opposite way that doesn't give volume ? Then said I do hair not magic ; it's common sense to blow out opposite way, towards to ceiling not floor.Don't waste your money or time .
Cost of services has doubled after COVID. This makes zero sense and you can sense that the owner is being greedy due to the fact that they do not disclose or are transparent on prices even of basic hair cutting. What would typically cost roughly $40 for 2 children + 1 ladies hair cut now costs $76.00. I understand a COVID surcharge fee of $5.00 per person but to completely charge $24 on what used to cost $12 is equivalent to paying double for a gallon of gas or gallon of milk. It's shameful that a store of such repute would fall to such uncommon practices. We had our last visit in this store after nearly 10 years of visit.
Wanting to get my haircut I had called 5 different places, everyone is booked till next week. Friend of our visited this place today in the morning and had posted a note on one of the social media app we both share. I called StartGlow Salon & was told If I can come in right now, I live 15 mins away from them. I got there by 11:00 got my haircut done. They really clean good before you walk & after you walkout. They have a waiting area outside, they took my temperature, wearing all protective gears and did an amazing job. Dayan did an excellent job and I would recommend her and the salon to everyone....please give TIPS generously as they have to put with a lot for last 3 months and now they have to pay for these protective gears to keep us safe. I wish I could give them 10Star Raiting, compete social distancing and almost no touch service. It's haircut they sanitize equipment hands, before and after serving customers. Their cleanup guys are always making sure that things are all good. Last but not the least No-Touch Apple Pay for payment.
