Update: been over 4 years and I've been living in NYC and I STILL cannot find someone who makes my brows look nearly as good as Neda does (excuse my spelling of her name in my previous review). She really is the best and I've realized I have to travel 1.5 hrs to LI just to get my brows done. If you're anywhere in the vicinity of this place & care about your brows, GO HERE!!!

I went to sheema salon to have my eyebrows done. I previously had them waxed in NYC and they looked liked two sticks so I grew them out and was skeptical about waxing . I was happily surprised how great they look. Neda is great and I will continue to have them done at the salon
Neda is the eyebrow whisperer! I really hate maintaining my eyebrows. They are thick and dark and I'd have an uni-brow if I didn't tweeze them regularly I started having them threaded but the place I would go to would have a different person there every time, who all had different styles. Not to mention it's SO. PAINFUL. I found this place - and Neda - while browsing on Yelp. It's very close to me so I decided to give it a shot and get my eyebrows waxed by her. Neda is AWESOME. She explained what she was going to do & showed me where the shape of my eyebrows could improve (no one has ever taken the time to do this before). She diligently worked on my eyebrows for about 10 minutes or so, waxing & tweezing, making sure they were perfect (they needed A LOT of work). They looked - and still look - SO good when she was done! I was thrilled! I'm going to keep going back to her every few weeks until everything grows in where it needs to & the shape is just right. She also didn't pressure me at all to make regular appts with her - she said whenever I could & whatever I could afford - I could come once a year if I wanted So yes, go see Neda! Your eyebrows will love you for it!
I got my hair and make up done today for my graduation. I didn't get to take a picture of my hair and make up 'coz I was rushing to go to the ceremony, plus it was raining. My hair held the curls even though I had Japanese hair straightening 8 months ago. I was so comfortable during the entire process. No accidental hair tugging or eye poking. Considering that I called them the day before at 4 pm, they accommodated me and spent a lot of time to make me look great. The price is reasonable. I will surely come back and most definitely recommend.
