Shear Inspiration in Phillipsburg, NJ

I thought the stylist was very nice and I was happy with my results at first because the lady insisted on curling my hair AND I couldn't see the back of it. When my sister showed me the back of my head and my hair was straight I realized that I spent $160 for the worst highlights of my life and an UNEVEN haircut. Not to mention I asked for a trim, I literally said a "dusting." The stylist said she wanted to cut off 2 inches, we agreed on taking off one. There are some sections she may have taken off an inch but the shortest part of my hair now is about 6 inches less. I don't get my hair done often but I wanted to splurge because I was going on vacation; this is the outcome (pics attached). I'm extremely upset and quite honestly angry because I didn't have time to fix it before my vacation which was extremely embarrassing and now I'm going to have to pay even more money at another (better) salon to fix this mess. I'll be loosing a few more inches after growing my hair for the last couple years. Absolutely infuriating!!! I will never go back and would never recommend to anyone.

They don't respect their customers. And I agree with the previous review... I don't know if this woman is the owner or store manager, but she's the tattooed girl with a very loud, piercing voice. I'm giving my review one star because: 1) That tattooed woman gave me a headache with her annoying, piercing, disrespectful voice (with customers around;) 2) while my hair was being washed by that tattooed lady, she was so busy yelling across the salon (literally) to her co-workers that she wasn't paying attention to washing all of the product out of my hair. My hair had a residue until I finally washed it out myself when I got home to make sure my hair was clean. Also, by this salon owner's actions, they don't care about customer loyalty, either. They'd rather cut off their nose to spite their face, but that's a whole other story. There are other salons around to choose from, so choose wisely and avoid places that could care less about customers' loyalty and respect.

I thought the owner was unprofessional. Came in, just ranting and then bragging about herself. Talked about things as if there were no customers were there. It was very awkward. The stylist that did my hair did a great job but she's not there anymore. And I didn't care for any of the other stylists' work. Nor how the owner conducted herself. So I've never gone back.

Sylvia is a genius when it comes to color I have been going to her for a year now So glad I found her Trust me, you will not be disappointed
