I found this salon online to fix my hair , I was blond when I came in and now I have no blond accept underneath my hair .. I believe the toner was left on too long which ended up toning my highlights to dark.... The stylist who did my hair told me to wash it a few times and try using purple shampoo which I did , it did NOT CHANGE AT ALL! So I reached out to stylish, and I was completely ignored ! All that after spending 270$ for a color I did not want which was completely wrong! This place is under new ownership and clearly does not care about clients returning , I would not recommend going to this salon unless you want Gary darkish hair !!!
I've been going to Shear Glamour for over three years. Nicole is amazing! After living in the Boston area previously it was hard to find a good salon. She is exceptional with color and cuts; a true perfectionist. The salon is now under new ownership and they always offer lots of specials. I'd highly recommend this salon.
Though Brandilyn is nice.. I will not be returning for eyelash extensions. October 2017 Brandilyn applied a full set of eyelash extensions. The glue administered had a strong odor, which smelt very similar to crazy glue (I don't think this was used!). This was inhaled for a hour as she applied the lashes, which did cause discomfort. The set looked good when done. However, most of the lash extensions separated from the base of my lash line within a few days. I noticed the lashes seemed to be applied in clumps as oppose to each individual eyelash. This also made it very difficult to comb through. The overall quality of the lash seemed mediocre.
I've been seen by Brandi and Emily. Emily did amazing things for my friends full color and did a great job in bleaching mine. Brandi was super accommodating in my second visit and was able to make time to lighten my hair further even though I just came in for a cut. I'm very grateful that they'll take the time to make sure I'm leaving with exactly what I want. The studio is beautiful and clean, and everyone is so nice! I can't wait for my next visit!!
