I had an appointment last week at Shear Creations in Plymouth Mass. When I walked in I was a little hesitant due to the fact the salon did not super clean. While I was waiting there were stylists yelling loudly at each other, regarding customers cancelling their appointments. When I sat down with my stylist Teresa, I explained I would be making an appointment at a later date for a color and highlights. However, I let her know that today would only be a wet cut due to the fact I had a scheduled appointment following my cut. When my cut was complered, I got to the register and the reception yelled over, "Teresa, same price?". I was absolutely astonished! She answered, "yes". I was charged $53.00 for a wet cut! I tipped her 18 percent. Simply because I was taught to tip for the work that has been done. Needless to sa, I feel totally taken advantage of. When I called and explained my though, I wasn't looking for money back, it appeared there was nothing for them to say other than, "prices have gone up". i can only imagine what I would have been charged if she blew my hair out! Absolutely rip off.
Get place Would highly recommend!! I live in Florida. went I come to Plymouth to visit my mom, I treat her and myself to a salon day . They have been very nice to my 96 year old mother and she is very happy with her hair when done. I am pleased as well with my hair.
Allie was so amazing! I went for a blow out and she made magic with my hair and took extra time to make my hair beautiful for a wedding. Would definitely go back!

Moved to Plymouth from Connecticut last fall 2021. Needed to find a new everything ie., doctors, cable provider, insurance, everything. Did some research and read the good reviews for Shear Creations. Luckily a gal named Ali was free so I set up an appointment. She came up with a plan to help me go from my dark brown colored hair to soft blond that lets my grey hair blend beautifully so I don't get any lines after two weeks. Now I can go much longer between appointments. Just last night a woman came over to me and told me that I have beautiful hair. And I'm 74. I have to say that I trust Ali and I've seen some wonderful before and after ladies walk out the door from all the stylists. I don't think you can go wrong going to Ali or anyone at Sheer Creations.
