Second Glance Salon in Edison, NJ

Horrible experience. I had a appointment with a stylist I have been seeing for years , so I go into the salon and it's completely empty with a person sitting behind the desk that introduced herself as the new owner. And never called to tell me my stylist is no longer there. I than find out the new owner is scamming everybody that does get a service and charges them double and than I finally speak to the stylist that did my hair and was told that the new owner was stealing from her and all the other stylists pay. So she had one old miserable nasty attitude lady that she asked if she would take me and the attitude she gave her and the look she gave me when she was asked was a reason I walked out that salon and would never ever return and I please beg you if you don't want to leave feeling like you were just lied to and scammed do not come to this horrible salon !!!

Joanie is great and the only positive thing left with this salon. It is run down and all other long time hairdressers have left. I am a long time client of Joanie and this Salon. Unfortunately, the salon was bought by a new Indian owner and it is quickly becoming "salon india". I will be looking for a new salon.

This wasn't my first time going to the salon before and I think this is the best salon I ever went to before. It even had coffee! Hair dressers were really nice, and I love my new haircut!

I have been having my hair styled by Chris M for years. Everything from cut to color to foils to blowout, she always does a wonderful job! Every style she comes up with always looks fresh! Especially during the pandemic, the salon is sanitized and makes me feel comfortable to spend time there. If you're looking for a hair salon that is always inviting, yet safe, Second Glance is the place! Keep up the great work!

This salon was a hidden gem that I didn't know was right down the street. The ladies there are very friendly and easy to talk to. They accepted my last minute appointment with kindness. Jodi cut my hair and she worked carefully with me to make sure it was what I wanted. I had great conversations with her and Margaret who washed my hair. I like the overall environment and service. In the end, I was pleased with my cut and also, enjoyed some delicious treats at the front (made by Jodi) where they have a little food station for their guests to enjoy. Thank you ladies!
