Incredible service and great prices! Alicia always gets me in and does a fantastic job! Whether I'm getting a cut, color, blowout, updo, or having her cut and style my kids hair she is always on point! I have been coming to her for a few years and wouldn't ever consider going anywhere else! There are tons of salons in Nutley but if you want a personalized experience with a stylist who actually cares about her clients and does a phenomenal job you need to come to Salon Mistris!
Tried this salon after seeing my friends color and loving it. The salon itself is clean and beautiful. Upon going I found out it is a full service salon, which is great considering I can walk to it. I had an appointment with Alicia, the owner. I had previous grown out blonde highlights. We spoke about what I wanted (better blend, ashier tone, etc) and she nailed it. I've never been so impressed- she really listened and was knowledgeable in guiding me on how to achieve the inspiration photos I brought in. She's very realistic and sets a game plan in order to keep the integrity of your hair. She was able to give me ashier hair while keeping it very soft and healthy. I'm looking forward to my next appointment as this will be my new go to salon

Melissa is an amazing hair stylist and a beautiful soul on the inside and out. Her talents are unparalleled and she can turn a vision into a reality. She takes the time to listen to your needs and recommends the best cut, treatment and/or color for you. My hair is absolutely fabulous and Melissa is to thank for that. Everyone at the salon is so welcoming and kind. Denise at the front desk has wonderful energy and makes you feel right at home upon your arrival. I highly recommend Melissa at Salon Mistris for all your hair needs.
My co-worker recommended Alicia for my vivid color hair dye & a cut. I'm not too trusting of hairdressers because I've had some horrible chop jobs where I go in to get an inch cut off & they removed 7 inches or I go in for a cherry red hair color then come out with I Love Lucy orange. I was really happy with Alicia's work. We talked about my problematic, or stubborn hair. I asked loads of question while she was processing my hair & she answered them all in stride. I highly recommend her services & I will be going back to her to trim my bangs on a regular basis besides the big job of bleaching my roots for my purple hair.
