Q's Nails ll in New Carrollton, MD

I came in today for a full set with nail designs. When I arrived, I showed the nail tech what I wanted and asked how much it would cost. She asked the manager and he said it would be $110 for all of the designs with the full set. As I proceeded to get my nails done, I started, noticing that the nails were extremely leaning to the side, which I kept mentioning to the Nail Tech, who completely ignored me. Already, knowing how it was going to turn out, I told her to not worry about the nail designs and just give me top coat. I was so unhappy and I asked how much it would be so that I could just pay and go and they proceeded to charge me $70 for extremely short nails that are not the same length and that are extremely leaning to the side. I receive no designs, and literally just topcoat. Please save your time and your money and go somewhere else.

I had been a faithful client of Qs nails for about a year. My technician was Kenia. We had no issues until recently. She was out because her son was sick. That's understandable but no one was willing to repair my nail that was lifting after 24 hrs. They wanted me to wait until tech was available or come back later but would not give me a time to come Back. I called Q the owner. No resolution from him. He didn't even offer to make the repair as the owner. They don't care about the customers only the money. When I first came Kenia was nice, personable and humble. I have sent her a lot of business but they do not care. You would think she would've followed up at some point. No response from her to this day. Her work initially was good but the last three times there's been Issues with lifting and chipping. There's no price list. They look at your nails and give you a price. You can get a similar style and it will have two different prices. The philosophy is there a nail shop on every corner. ( literally the words of the girl with the tattoos at the front desk) so I'll take my money and spend it somewhere where they actually appreciate your business. Theres always someone fussing about the prices and the lack of transparency of the prices. Their resolution call the police if they don't want to pay. Why not just list the price like any normal business? The shop is filled has arrogant, inconsiderate technicians. Don't waste your money here. They don't appreciate your business.

Tom has horrible customer service skills every two sec he stop to watch his movie he's very disrespectful don't pay attention when he hurting your finger . He will constantly paint over his mistake making it bulky then when you tell him to redo it he has an attitude .

Is ZERO stars allowed?? Do not go here. Gave me the hardest time EVER. My two big toes looked different in style of the French. One was crooked as well. They tried to convince me I was seeing things. Then a very nice young black female sided with me and offered to fix their mistakes! Then they charged me EXTRA for her fixing a mistake they made. They give u the hardest time in the world. If you want to have to nag, hawk over them and monitor their every move, then be overcharged when you could've done better yourself, go here! And this is not a one time thing, it got so bad, I stopped going. It happens every time! Service? Bad, rushed, attitudes terrible. Quality? Decent, after u beg for them to do a good job and three diff ppl work on you. Just don't.......

This review is from early summer and thought I posted it. I've still never heard from the owner at all...lol I've been to this salon a few times for a gel manicure. When I arrived this time a lady walked up and was looking at my nails as if they were fake. I told her these are my nails. Unfortunately, she was the next available tech (MiMi). She wasn't pleasant and stayed on her phone the entire time. She overly filed my nails but because I had another appointment, I didn't thoroughly inspect my nails before I left. The next day the gel polish was cracking on the side. I sent a response to the owner indicating I would come to the shop. (Never received a response) but went to the shop the following day and asked for a manager and one was not available but an older lady and she asked who did my nails and I let her know. MiMi was sitting there like a deer in head lights. She was working on someone else but at no time did she get up and come to the desk. I waited awhile but couldn't wait and needed to be at work. There was no one else who seemed willing to help. I was unable to make it back and now it's Sunday six days after getting my gel nail manicure and the gel is chipping badly. Gel normally lasts me two weeks. I sent the owner two responses and have heard nothing. I don't even know why they send you a link asking for feedback regarding services and they don't respond back. I literally can walk to this shop but will not be back as they are unresponsive in handling poor service.
