Quiet clean nail salon in PQ. Their gel manicures last forever. I think they are missed because they are not in a strip mall. But I have been very pleased with them.
This is my go to nail salon. I have been coming here for years and have had multiple nail technicians. I always call ahead to schedule an appointment. I appreciate how they take their time and my pedicures/manicures always last. It's a calm environment, the feet and hand massages are great, and their prices are fair. I typically get dip or gel and anytime I show them a desired nail design, they make it happen. I've tried places closer to my home and it doesn't compare to the quality and kindness at this nail salon.
I've come here 3-4 times for gel manis and pedis. I really liked it here because they slightly do a better job than salons nearby. Today, I went to get my gel removed and they asked me 3 times if I wanted a pedicure. I said no, just remove the gel. I've gotten my gel removed here before. One visit they charged me $7, the next visit was $10 and today they charged me $12! This is all within 3-4 months of each other. I questioned why it was $12 and the woman was trying to explain that if I had gotten a pedicure, then the removal fee would be cheaper. This is such BS. I felt like because I didn't get a pedicure like they wanted me to, it would've been cheaper. When I got in my car, I called all the other salons nearby just because I was curious how much they charged. They all confirmed their gel removals are only $10. I feel like Q Nails did me dirty and charged me $2 extra dollars just because I didn't get a pedicure. Word of advice, don't let them hustle you and throw a random price at you. Especially if you've been a loyal customer to them for months. BYE Q NAILS.
