Professional Hair Design & Kidz Cutz in East Brunswick, NJ

I told my hairdresser as what color I would like to have on my hair. The women burnt my hair and used the wrong color. My hair is now shoulder length and it looks horrible. I don't want to cut it more, because i do not look good in short hair. Sad. I will never cut or color my hair in that place ...ever again. Stay away. See pictures attached. The two first pictures show the wrong color and damage done to my hair. The third picture is what I thought it is going to look like. October 2022.

Staff is great and so is the manager. Never have I been dissatisfied here. I've gotten my hair colored straighten, even Brazilian treatments and much more. Would recommended. Great prices as well

Horrible. I asked for a trim and the stylist took off a foot. I asked her to cut 3 inches off, not 12 inches. I showed her exactly what I wanted. I went in with beautiful long hair and came out with a short boyish bob. It was cold outside and she wanted $20 to dry my hair. I went to the manager. I had to argue with her, and then she told the woman to dry my hair. I was so humiliated. I am going to have to wait 6 months for my hair to grow back. Do not go to this place! This business deserves a zero rating!

This is the most unprofessional place to have your hair services. The staff are rude and act like they are doing you a favor, the same goes with the manager. My daughter had an appointment with Kaye for her senior prom. When I made the appointment I described my daughter's hair length and mentioned it was curly. She quoted me a price of $60 but it depends on her hair length which again I described it to her. When we arrived for our 1:00 appointment we had to wait at least 10 to 15 minutes before she asked her to come over. It seemed she did not want to be brothered because she had other customers. I asked to have her hair washed then dried and styled. Her answer was this would be too expensive, when I asked how much she said over $100. So I asked how much to just style, she now quotes $85. This is outrageous for this Mickey Mouse shop. I said Kaye you told me $60 and $85 is too much. I said maybe someone else can do it cheaper thinking that this shop might have senior or junior hairstylist. She immediately agreed and said yes get someone else. How horrific is this for a teenager going to senior prom being told to go somewhere else. The manager got involved and said this is a lot of work and detail but she would do it for $75. At this time we were both strapped for time and had no choice. Kaye started her hair at 1:30 with a face that could kill someone. She was pulling and yanking on her hair. I felt bad but needed her hair done. About 10 mins to 2:00 she stops and said she will right back. 15 minutes later she appeared again to continue. She started with curling her hair and did not really speak to my daughter to make sure she met her needs. To make this long store short we left and as soon as my daughter got dressed her hair had fell straight and I had to curl her hair all over. She liked what I did better then the so called hairdresser. Stay away from this shop even the manager will tell you if you don't like it here go somewhere else. Wonderful customer relations. If I could give a zero review I would.

Horrendous . We always go to Great Clips which is perfect but went here out of convenience tonight . My son was very specific and asked for an exact men's lengths (3 and 4). He was given a crew cut and is devastated . Never going there again . EVER
