Platinum Salon And Spa in Miller Place, NY

I've gotten my hair done at this salon a few times, and I've always left feeling satisfied. Sometimes I don't know exactly what I want done with my hair, and I often take their suggestions. They do not disappoint. The owner is amazing and knows her clientele well. It's a great atmosphere to just sit down to be appreciated, feel pampered, and enjoy good conversation.

I would literally give 0 stars if I could. Literally the absolute worst salon in the area. Do not go here. The work was abysmal and the attitude afterwards was even worse. The staff just look miserable and are not putting their best into the work they do. When I said I wasn't happy they were very nonchalant. I also got racist vibes the entire time I was at this salon. Mind you, I'm half white but I guess half white isnt enough for the racist staff/manage/owner. I predict them shutting down soon. I can't imagine anyone committing to this salon when there are much better environments to go to with stylist that actually know what they're doing. Save your time, your money, and your hair!

I knew about Platinum Salon & Spa from my mother. She got her wedding hair and makeup done here and my sister and I also got ready here. The ladies here are super fun and will make sure you have a good time! When it came time for my wedding, I didn't contact any other salons because I knew Platinum Salon would take care of me. I worked with Tara who is funny and sweet! She was aware that I never wear makeup and did not want to look like a clown. I also had a very specific hairstyle in mind. I spoke with Andrea, the owner, and she said she can have the whole bridal party in the salon and also offered to provide bagels and mimosas. I know other girls who have spent a fortune on hair and makeup, but Platinum Salon worked with my budget and did me and all my girls for a great price! I was so nervous on my wedding day that I wanted to puke, but Tara and the other girls made all my fears go away by playing music and making jokes. Platinum Salon is extremely accommodating and me and my girls looked amazing! Thank you!

Hi all. Came into this salon knowing what I wanted. When I first got it done I toughed it out and said I liked it. When I returned I got hair that looked like this. Asked management if they're be happy with this post on their page in which she replied no. So I asked for a refund or for my hair to be fixed. 7 hours after sitting in the salon. The stylist couldn't fix it to how I wanted it. Then told me I needed a haircut then proceeded to tell me it'll cost an extra $50. So I said no. I want my hair how I expected it. Finally got sat in a seat with a stylist I LOVED and she gave me what I wanted in under 2 hours. Saved my hair and I've never been happier. Don't want to say names to sway opinions of certain women who work in this salon. But if it wasn't for the stylist who listened to me and gave me what I wanted without showing a picture, I wouldn't be returning. I choose to spend my money and continue to go here for the ONLY stylist who listened to me and made me happy to feel like a million bucks. You know who you are girl and THANK YOU FOR LISTENING!
