Located right next to Wings Over, which makes it a super convenient drive and relatively easy walk if necessary.
For a place that serves a lot of college students, I think the prices are pretty reasonable. Usually $15/16 for a haircut, more depending on special needs, beard, etc.
They're extremely quick without sacrificing care and focus on each customer, and almost always have several people working at once which makes for great turnover.
Although you can call ahead and reserve a spot (which I always recommend doing anywhere), they accept walk ins and usually will get to you within a few people.
All of the people who work there are great, but if you can, ask for Dylan, he's awesome!

I'm a UConn student and I've visited all the places within walking distance of campus. It's right next to Wings Over and is a quick stop to get that hair fix. After having my hair yanked on by scissors and getting the same haircut as all my buddies in other places I won't mention, I'm glad to find a place that's within the college budget and provides good service.

It was okay. I wasn't expecting much and I got what I expected. The barber was cool on the phone about me getting a free cut  because I wanted a little more taken off from the last visit I had. Then I got in the shop and he says, "10 dollars since its been a week". Alright I thought that's still fair. Then...I got in the chair. Throughout the haircut he repeats with in an annoyed tone"what do you want"? truth be told I didn't know what the hell I wanted and told him this. I was trying to test different looks as he cut my hair. He was very frustrated and I could tell he just wanted to leave. I even offered to pay him more for the haircut. He refused but had no problem taking my extra 5 dollar tip. You could've done both of us a favor and told me you didn't feel like giving me a cut. Maybe it was an off day but man I'm paying you. All in all I wasted 35 bucks for an average cut, talcum powder, and a major tude'. Best place to get a haircut on campus but that isn't saying much. 2.5 stars.

I was impressed with the care and percision that was taken with my hair. I'm not too picky, but these folks were intent on making sure that my cut was exactly what I wanted. They were also quick about it, which is always helpful given how busy it can get on campus. I would highly recommend this place to anyone who is looking for a simple cut at an affordable price.
