Awful experience today. I have been going here the last couple months, getting a pedicure and powder dip. The pedicures have been fine. The powder dip was just okay, took forever, and did not seem to be the techinicians favorite choice or skill to perform. Actally had one forget to put the base layer on firstl And, then had one say "this is a alot of work" So I decided to try gel today; horrible exprerience! They ground down my nails, a painful expereince, and they are now paper thin even with the gel on them. And, then charged me an extra $10 to remove the powder gel that they applied (and they already charge an extra $10 for a powder dip versus a gel manicure)! Thought I found a new go to, wrong!
This place is cool. Pricey but the girls working there know what they are doing and take pride in their work. So it works out . I just miss the days a regular mani was $8/$12 lol. Now it's like you are being punished for wanting a regular mani with regular polish bc gel is so popular. $20 for a simple mani is steep but I get it . I was satisfied with both my mani and pedi done by Elvia. I'll go back if necessary. The place was also clean and plenty of color options for your choice of polish application.

I went here to get my eyebrows waxed before my wedding and the woman dropped waxed in the middle of my eyebrow and then used tweezers to rip the dry wax out and in turn removed most of my eyebrow. She also jammed the very pointy tweezers into my brows multiple other times. I have never had such a painful experience with tweezers.
When she gave me the mirror to look, I started the freak out. When we got to the front desk, I asked to not pay since it looked so bad. I was crying and explaining how my wedding was in 2 days and my eyebrows were just about missing - I even asked to speak to the manager. They insisted that I still pay the $16. I never even got an apology.
I then had to spend $40+ on products to try to draw them back on to feel more confident. I had a hard time even looking in the mirror for a while after. Save yourself and do not go here.
