Was a client for almost 2 years, until last week the owner Mireya. Did me wrong. I was there on a Saturday afternoon just to FLAT IRON my hair, after my hair was washed and set 2 days prior, it was still clean, but i had and event that evening and wanted my hair looking fresh. At the time to pay the lady claimed that it was going to cost me $40 usd, same as if i did a full wash and set again. And the attitude she delivered to me was something else, i just paid gave my girl her tip, and decided not to go back. To deal with a person that has no customer service skills whatsoever. Brendwood has 100s of Dominican salons everywhere, already found another one. ** If you still want to go, just be mindful of her way of charging for services....

Mireya's salon is definitely WORTH the trip. The prices are very reasonable! I highly recommend it to women with type 3c-4C as well. Other salons have turned me around because my hair is " too thick", but they didn't hesitate to provide me with wonderful service. I went to get my hair washed, a treatment, set, trimmed, and blown out. Not only did they have patience with my hair, but they took the time to educate me in the process. They knew how to PROPERLY detangle natural hair and I have never experienced that with other salons on Long Island. I'm so proud of the results. This was my first time here based on my experience, I'll only be going here from now on. Below are before and after pictures. Thank you so much!
Wonderful salon, I have been going here for years and they really understand hair care
Good as a standby, in case my regular stylist can't fit me in. Classic Dominican salon, come in early and get out at a decent time. They are my go to for a quick wash, roller set and then light blow drying otherwise they will overdo the blow drying! I do t recommend using them for complex processing, unless you're Spanish speaking.
