They are now cutting hair at Phenix in the Mira Mesa mall.
I would give this place a 0 star review if I could. I walked in there with a picture of a simple haircut with layers and walked out of there with a botched haircut on all accounts . I'm not sure why this place states they are a hair salon that can provide female haircuts. The place looks like a barber shop and should remain one. Please don't go here.
Absolutely terrible. Came in asking for the example photo below and got this. There is a huge chunk missing from the back. Completely botched the length. Still had to pay. I don't understand how a person could be so irresponsible to not say "sorry I don't think I will be able to do that" instead of going ahead with it. Completely reckless. Hair dresser was male.
This review is for Hiep specifically. I've been getting my haircut from Hiep for a couple of years since he was somewhere else and followed him here. Covid protocols were superb since the shop is so small it's 2 customers at a time and the other customer is in another room anyways. Hiep's always professional and friendly and cares about his customers, which is why he has a small following.
Like any barber, his business has suffered from Covid so I'm hoping things will pick up for him soon.
I love this little shop! Everyone there definitely does a great job from short to long haircut, fades, texturing, layering. I personally go to Hiep or sam, they are the best barber from mesa barbershop. They hook it up every time! The price vs quality is unbeatable. you don't see in Mira Mesa for the quality they produce. Look no further if you're in the Mira Mesa area.
