Marie Antoinette Bridal Salon in Derby, CT

I was here recently to get a mother of the bride dress. I made my appointment and came with my daughter to check out dresses. They recommended to make an appointment so they can give you more individualized attention. My only complaint is the placement and parking. It's on a busy road and the parking is on the main road. Otherwise they are great! Denise was really attentive and helped us find the perfect dress. It was so perfect that when all was said and done it required only an alteration of the shoulder straps to minimize the cleavage.  Jenn, who does the alterations was even surprised how well of a fit it was. Throughout the process I was very happy with my experience with them. I'm glad I got the recommendation of a friend to go there.

This was the bridal salon I purchased my gown from. I guess they don't remover their Brides only the money they steal from them after giving them a horrible experience.

All I can say is they are just really rude people in my opinion. I don't see how they are still in business. I was sent to buy something for a friend and I was massively over charged when my friend was told a much lower price but was on the edge of buying. So I was sent to pick it up. I felt discriminated against due to being a man.

So grateful for all their help and attention. I needed my dress quickly for a destination wedding and they made it happen. The staff is so friendly, welcoming  and kind. My dress was beautiful along with my veil. I couldn't ask for more. Also they were priced substantially less than other bridal salons.

Dresses are beautiful.

However, as one of the other reviews on this site said, they ordered the completely WRONG sizes for our bridal dresses. They  took measurements and when THEY ordered the wrong size, they would not do anything to help us order the right size without having to pay for BOTH dresses. Customer service isn't all that great. I wouldn't get dresses altered here either, their prices are ridiculous.
