I just live this place. I had been looking for a hair dresser that did an excellent job and I found Mayra, Maria Juarez. She did my Brazilian blow after totally repairing my hair first. My hair is now healthier and my color is even. She is amazing
Maria Juarez Salon is the best Salon in San Diego. I have been going there for years and have had only great experiences. Mayra is a gifted colorist and stylist...I always get compliments on my hair. They are the ultimate in professionalism and salon services.
My nails were a bit of a mess (and I *just* had a manicure within the week). I have plans tonight and didn't want to have to trek to a nail salon for a touch-up or mani. Sooo...Pudgy and I were walking down the street from grabbing an iced-tea lemonade at Starbucks ( he didn't partake) and I saw Maria Juarez Salon with the door open.
There was Irma. She explained they're by appointment only, and she was waiting on a client, but she could at least touch me up really quickly. Took one look at my nails, named my nailcolor, grabbed a bottle of polish off the shelf and got to work.
She was so nice and she didn't charge me a dime. Then when I tried to at least tip her she outright refused! She said, "Just come back and see me..."
Uh, indeed I will.

Its a good salon and the ladies do a good job, but the hours are unclear and they never answer the phone, so its VERY VERY frusterating to try to get a appointment!!!
