Terrible service, inexperienced technician...results were not as expected. Would not recommend
Sadly not a win for me. Purchased the Groupon because I wanted a quick trim. Made appointment via Groupon, the appointment wasn't honored by the salon. Scheduled another appt for another day, had to call salon to have someone meet me at the salon for my appointment. Had several sub charges, taxes needed to be paid (although Groupon doesn't state that), extra charge for anything outside of a trim.... My haircut was great so I'm thankful for that but overall service just left me meh where I wouldn't be back.
Fantastic place for a men's haircut! For me, I need someone who knows how to use scissors and not just razors like a barber shop. Mercedes did a fantastic job right from the first haircut. Include wash, hot towel and very clean comfortable place. Very reasonably priced. Highly recommend to anyone!
The worse experience EVER.. DO NOT COME HERE seriously. I went on groupon and got a three mani pedi deal... the mani and pedi was OK.. not great just OK. I was sincerely going so someone can clean out my cuticles because sometimes I cut myself and it was annoying I didnt come on yelp so I seriously did this to myself.... SO UPSET. Its appt only so I loved the NO WAIT time (now I know the reason theres no wait) every time I went I signed in because I had three mani and pedis... she was trying to upsell me I didnt go for it BUT on the second time she told me about massages and I figured why not (sometimes a massage is given by a friend or a spouse and their good so I figured no real science if it's not good it's ok she gave me a deal 150 + tax for three massages ) so I go try to make my first appt txt messages ignored or shes NOT available.. we go back and forth in regards to scheduling *not in a bad way* then we finally confirm a day. I go that day the salon Is closed... I call she tells me i "was the girl that r/s a whole lot" I tell her I never r/s fast forward this lady tells me the lady had an emergency so I tell her why wasn't I contacted to stay home... she got mad at me and told me I have to understand life happens which I never argued fast forward I told her she can keep her third mani pedi.. I want my money back for the massages she says I have to speak to the manager.. I said ok have her call me... but no one called hours lady so I call and she said the manager is on vacation won't contact me for a week I contacted my bank they said as long as theres no proof that I was aware of NO refunds theres no problem I said no because I didnt sign anything 2 months later my bank says they are reverting the credit because she has proof I was aware I request the proof she manipulated a document to show that I signed a contract when I was indeed just signing in to use my groupon.. had to go all the way to corporate office with my bank submitted a 3 page essay basically explaining my story with pictures of what I signed (log for groupons).. meanwhile contacted the BBB that she didnt bother responding to so I had to take it up with consumer affairs. My bank sided with me... she also didnt respond to consumer affairs. A total nightmare.. I would never go back here free or if someone paid me.
Hello everyone, I purchased a Groupon for a manicure and pedicure for $20.50 I can honestly say you get what you pay for. I went here on a Monday because me normal location wasn't open. As I said on the review for Groupon this was the worst experience I've ever had. The place wasn't sanitized and my experience was painful. Customer service was terrible from the moment I walked in Mercedes (the owner) told me to sit down. I waited and decided to read the reviews... yeah I should of done this before I paid lesson learned. She was walking around like she was doing something so I thought she wasn't the person doing my nails I was ready to go so I headed for the door. Then she said I can take you now. I should of just left my cuticles were uneven, polish everywhere, and terrible customer service. Oh please don't let me forget you have to pay tax $2.90, and she didn't ask me to tip looking at the reviews I feel sorry for those who did. If your looking for a great Nail salon try Rouge Nails in Montclair, there's no Groupon but you get what you pay for.
