Kensington Park Salon in San Diego, CA

I've been seeing Debra for years. I took a little break until I realized that she was the best and I couldn't do any better. Parking is easy even if there isn't a space in the lot. I love this salon and highly recommend it.

Went to Kensington Park Salon today for the first time and had Marisol do my hair. Let me just say she did a BEAUTIFUL job! My hair feels so light, healthy, and new. She worked with me and the pictures I showed her to perfectly highlight my hair while adding dimensions. She was so so sweet and we had great conversations the whole time. I would highly recommend coming here and seeing her!!! :)

I just recently moved to San Diego from the Bay Area and I wanted to find a stylist who was warm, welcoming, and good at what they do. Mari fit all of those things and more! Mari is unlike any hair stylist I have ever experienced before (in the best of ways). When you set up your first appointment with her, she will be upfront about the time it takes for her to do your hair; she is non-traditional! Do not expect to be in and out in 30 minutes. You are not "just another" client to her. She puts so much time and effort on your hair and you will feel like royalty when you're in her chair. She listens so carefully to your hair goals and wants to make sure you love your hair when you leave. She is also so wise, and you will feel like you have been friends with her for years! I took a risk with her and went much shorter than I usually do, but she made me feel awesome and confident doing so. My hair has felt so healthy and happy ever since. It's been about 9 or so weeks since she cut my hair, and it is *just* starting to get to the awkward phase. Luckily I have an appointment in a few weeks and I cannot wait. I highly recommend her! :-)

Mari is an artist! I was referred by a coworker and decided to give her a try. I have dark brown hair and she gets me to the perfect platinum blonde. She takes her time and explains the process thoroughly. She always honest about what she can/can't do with my hair to maintain its integrity and it's finally growing out. She put me on a hair product regimen that has keep my platinum blonde fresh and strong. My last appointment we did balayage and the color faded so perfectly into the blonde, that I've been able to push my next appointment out past 8 weeks. She's super detailed oriented! Always walk out happy!

WOW WOW WOW! I would recommend this place without a doubt! Long story short, I was in need of a new salon and new person to do my hair.... because the previous stylist whom I had for years, ghosted me after a failed dye job. I stumbled across this place, and I am ever so grateful I did! Mari did an amazing job with my hair! She was so professional, attentive, and easy going. She listened to what I wanted and achieved the look I was going for. The place was very welcoming. It felt as if I was already an outstanding customer and have gone there for years! The stylists and customers are all so very nice and "homey" THIS PLACE IS A WHOLE VIBE! I WILL NEVER GO ANYWHERE ELSE!! Mari is the best hands down!
