Food was not good! We were a family of 8 and ordered different things. Each order was of poor taste. My husband had stew, I had fish, my granddaughter had the worse mac'n'cheese! The french fries were the worst: soggy and awful tasting. Service was just ok. Will not recommend!
We live everything we have ever had here. The service is always top notch. Extremely attentive and personable. Fish and chips, burgers, pot pie, everything is delicious!
The food is fresh and delicious. The Brussel Sprouts is great as is the fish and chips. Ask for sweet potatoes fries which is an option instead of French fries. The Cobb salad with salmon is fantastic as are the chicken pot pie and chicken piccata. Service is friendly and attentive. Cozy pub atmosphere is wonderful especially if you sit near the fireplace. Ask for the Pub Bread..it's worth the carbs! A great place to gather.
Great food, drinks and service. You can never go wrong with one of the pork dishes, or the superfood salad, or pretty much anything on the menu. The sticky toffee pudding is a must try. The Hunters Head has been a go to for me for 20 years and I'm never disappointed.
Hunter's Head serves afternoon tea on Mon, Thurs and Fri with 48 hour notice - I had no idea but am glad I found out. Five of us feasted on generous portions of 5 types of sandwiches (especially if you like salmon), 2 types of scones and other treats and a wide array of teas including 2 decaf teas. I had chocolate almond fantasy which was as yummy as it sounds. The dining room is warm and charming and our server was great. Great experience on all accounts.
