Hello Gorgeous Salon in Mullica Hill, NJ

If I could rate zero stars I would, Went to see someone with a bit of breakage on the left corner of my head above my ear from previous dye,and i was slightly insecure about it.. told her I was aware of that and consulted with her opinion on whether or not to go through with bleaching my roots again, because I don't want to have pixie short hair. She tells me not to worry, when I notice alot of hair breaking off I tell her I don't know its a good idea to develop the hair any longer. She said "If hair isn't falling out you're not blonde enough!" as a joke. it wasn't funny. Long story short, I go home to workout and put my hair up and the whole underside of my head has broken hair. Looked like a grown in undercut. I called her to ask for my money back and was told I was aware of that breakage... If I knew about that amount of breakage why would I have even consulted about bleaching...? Finally I was only offerred a conditioning treatment worth $30. My confidence is horrible now. I have tufts of hair sticking out of my head.Never Ever going back.

Had an appointment last week. 20 minutes after my appointment time I was still waiting...I was told it would be 5-10 additional minutes. The stylist looked like she had about 30 more minutes to go! No apologies when I stated I had to return to work and couldn't stay any longer, and no phone call from a manager. Will not return!

I initially booked here because my usual salon has cut back on their hours and tthe new schedule doesn't work for me. HG has exceptional hours and I made my appointment online just a couple of days ahead of time which was convenient. I figure hair can always be fixed, so I was willing to trust someone new. Well, Jen exceeded my expectations and when I told her what I wanted, no only did she clarify it with me but also found a picture to make sure. She worked quickly and was very professional. She nailed it! The price was very reasonable but the atmosphere did lack the smaller, more intimate, privately owned salon feel.

Looks like they use the same generic dingy blonde on any customer looking for highlights and charge upscale prices for mediocre service. Never again.

Always a great experience! All of the girls are so friendly and down to earth. Very clean and inviting atmosphere! Would recommend to anyone looking for a new salon!!!
