Been going here for the last couple of years, working with Courtney. Very happy with the service and the atmosphere. Always a great cut and everyone is very friendly.

Ask for Ashley, she's been cutting my hair for over a year now and does an amazing job. Whenever I wanna switch my style up she always has great suggestions. I wouldn't let anyone else touch my hair! If she's not cutting your hair, you're missing out!

This place has been generally inconsistent for years. Some times you can go in, get in a chair right away and walk away with a nice inexpensive haircut. But there have been times I've gone in and there is only one person working (in the middle of a Saturday or Sunday!!) because people just haven't shown up for work and the owner is nowhere to be found. I felt so bad for the employee there as she was very flustered trying to run the show herself. The girls working there are usually very friendly though, regardless of their circumstances. Either take appts or have more employees there when needed. No one wants to wait an hour or more for a haircut on a beautiful summer day.

I was looking for a place that could do an inexpensive blow out for me immediately. I called to check the price and I was told $18 - that's it. After my appointment, I was charged $22... Not fair because i was told it was $18, that's it...but it's just a $4 difference and I have thick hair, so ok whatever. I went back again 5 days later for another blowout and was charged $37 because of the "thickness" IM PRETTY SURE THE THICKNESS OF MY HAIR DID NOT CHANGE IN 5 DAYS TO UP THE PRICE $15.Not to mention, the stylist stopped in between BOTH services to assist other clients. I could've went to my real hair salon for a better price and REAL service. Hair It Is is inconsistent and charges what they feel like they need in order to make the months rent. They lost the business of not only myself, but my family and friends as well.

I went here to get a haircut per the recommendation of a family member. I usually go to a more expensive salon, but I just moved here about 2 years ago and needed a new place to go. I have very long hair I had been growing it out after a bad experience at a cheap salon cutting it too short. I went to get layers cut into my hair and the stylist told me my hair was too long to cut layers into...really? I have been cutting layers into my hair for the past 10 years and have never been told that before. I insisted that I have had it done before and they stylist got rude and told me that if hair is too long you cannot cut layers into it. Not sure where she went to beauty school at, but when I went back to my normal stylist of 10 years she said this was completely wrong and proceeded to cut layers into my hair. She suggested maybe since it was alot of work the stylist didn't feel like working that day. I would have to agree. Don't waste your time going here. I would rather travel an hour and spend more money to have someone who knows what they are doing cut my hair.
