Gloss Luxury Nail Spa II in Stamford, CT

Called ahead of time to make 2 appointments 1 for a UV fill the second for a new UV set. We arrived on time and was told they were running behind about 15 minutes...no problem. They sat us down 15 minutes after we got there (which we expected) then waited a little more than 5 minutes for the tech to come over and start my fill...no other tech apparently was there or available to start my daughter's...my daughter ended up leaving because the wait for her would have been an hour after our appointment time. The tech was very nice and attentive asking if the length and shape was fine, but after getting home I noticed that the polish was a bit sloppy.  It's too bad because the 2 staff members were pleasant and attentive (I got a complimentary chair message, which was GREAT) but I will not be going back again. they should have told us there was only one tech that does UV.

Wish I could give this place a better review but my experience was okay. The day I went was very quiet, no one else inside. I did pedicure and gel manicure, felt VERY rushed when doing the manicure. The nails were not done well, there were bumps and on a lot of the nails the edges were nowhere near done. The lotion that they warm up for your feet and hands was WAY too hot and left a red mark on my feet ( I'm rather shy and didn't want to say anything). The male tech was very sweet and did take his time, but the female tech was a short on words and I felt like she wanted me out the door quick. Covid prevention procedures out in place are amazing and I felt safe the whole time. Wish I could've had a better time.

I live in the Fairfield area, but I came all the way here in Stamford for my nails- it's worth the drive. The staff are all very attentive and pay attention to every detail. Han even paused the timer when he walked away for a bit to get a hot towel so that I wouldn't miss a second of my ten minute massage. As far as Covid goes, the facility is very clean and they have you wash your hands as soon as you enter. Only every other nail station is open right now to enable 6 feet distancing and the stations that are open have plexiglass around them to keep everyone safe. My nails look flawless and are well shaped-they took their time to get the job done right (even when other customers started coming inside). The price is average for the area but you get a lot more for your money ($35 for a normal mani-pedi but upgrades are certainly available). Go here!!!

I just found this salon on Friday and I've already been back again! LOVE it! Very convenient for me on my way home... incredibly clean, quick, and courteous. Even when I didn't have an appt, they were able to quickly shift plans to take me. I also appreciated that during my back massage today, Han stopped the timer to grab the hot towel so I wouldn't miss a second of my massage (it's the little things.) Also, the woman who did my nails (didn't catch her name) swiveled her chair from each side of the pedicure chair to complete my manicure so I can relax (again, the little things!) I will be back next week... and probably the following too :) thanks for a great experience!

Absolutely amazing! Love how clean this salon is, everyone is so nice. Very peaceful and great prices.
