Very bad experience here. Depending on what you look like they will charge more. In total I paid $90 dollars because I tipped the lady who did my hair. My hair is short and the charge another lady who came in after me with long thick bra strap length hair 70 too. They were talking about me the entire time I was in the chair and the lady just kept smiling. She didn't realize I could understand everything she said. They weren't necessarily saying anything terrible but it doesn't feel good to be talked about. My hair was extremely shiny with a ton of body but it smelled like a barbecue! I don't think it was worth it tbh. Even after I washed my hair continued to smell burnt 3 months after. Overall extremely overpriced and not worth it for me.
The barber shop, at this street address, seems to go by different names. Maybe it has changed ownership. Anyway, I got the worst haircut from the barber shop this week at this street address that I have had in my entire adult life. In the first place, it appears to be an enclave for Spanish-speaking people. If you don't speak Spanish, then the barber won't understand your instruction. Not only did I get a bad haircut, there was loud conversation and horseplay, among barber employees, that renders the impression of not taking their job seriously. Instead of clowning around, they should give attention to their paying customers. I took a chance by going to this unfamiliar barber shop because my regular barber shop was too crowded that day. I regret it. I will never return.
