Fantasy Hair in Wurtsboro, NY

When I found Fantasy Hair approximately 10 yrs ago I was so happy. Having alopecia starting at the age of 18 months old (I'm 62) was never a welcoming adjustment, but when you have no choice you deal with it. I've been through ALL types of wigs. From very low quality to high quality, synthetics, human and custom, brick and mortar, catalogs and online. Fantasy Hair has given me the comfort, personal touch and professionalism I've been looking for. The 1st one on one private appointment that I remember was when I went into Manhattan with my parents to a wig shop to get my first custom wig to start pre-k. We went in the back for the measurements. I was petrified! Again so very thankful for Fantasy Hair. I am very pleased/ satisfied with every purchase that I've made. I get compliments that warms the heart. I strongly recommend this business.

I was a client/customer @ Fantasy Hair, Wurstsboro,NY for 7 plus years. I had Alopecia so I purchased and used Pat Morris's services. I consider my self a good customer. Paid in Full, no credit problems and generous tips. Their were minor issues over the course of the years including, hair system thining to rapidly, wrong color etc. Pat always was very responsive. In my opinion the last couple of years it seemed she was distracted by ongoing family illness and her own health problems. She also started an online clothing business. She told me at one point, that she wasn't taking any new clients and cutting back her hours, which was her prerogative. She also was having trouble with her contacts in Asia for acquiring the hair pieces. At this point in February 2020 Covid started being an issue with her business and getting her repairs back. She sent my one hair system out I believe in February or March,not sure. Then she closed do to covid in March, not her fault. I believe it was in June that according to state guidelines she could reopen, but she wasn't taking appointments and considered not reopening. At this point I was upset because for me not just a haircut/color, but my emotional wellbeing. Trying to find new "Salon" wasn't easy. I asked about my Hair piece and she said as soon as it came in she would ship to me free of charge. It finally came in August 2020. I had it put on 10/10/2020 and realized it was not my "repaired piece" but a cheap new one which is wrong color,wrong texture, wavy, not straight, gaps at base, wrong size. Horrible. My warning to future customers. "Beware''!
