If I could give 0 stars I would. I went in for a trim because my extensions didn't blend and I wanted more of a face frame. When I talked with the stylist, I told her multiple times I didn't want to lose any length and she said she understood. Long story short, I spent hundreds of dollars to get my extensions installed to make my hair longer, and she totally botched my hair, cut a good two inches off and now it looks worse. I will never return.

People the lows stars mean a lot! Brittany cut my hair the shortest it has been in 10 years! I feel naked. Plus how is it harder to comb then before she removed the split ends? Not kidding and to top it off it is such a sloppy cut my friends think I cut it myself! Wow! We all have to start somewhere and maybe she is best at coloring. But at cutting, well she should give that up. Even I knew the first time I cut hair it was not for me. Know when quit. This place should close their doors. Head to JTs out front on GR they have experienced professionals there.

It's always a worry when the stylist who cut you hair the previous time and did a fantastic job is no longer at the salon....I spun the wheel and came out the loser. The person who cut (?) my hair, even though it hadn't been a long time, seemed to only wave her scissors at my head. She managed to get a bit off the sides and top, but didn't seem to touch the back...previous cut was a tight pixie with lots of texturing...current cut is awful and after ten days looks like it should be cut again. I've been goin to this salon since I moved to Brighton and going to other locations since 1984....may have to search for an alternative.

If you ever plan on coming to the Brighton location, I would recommend you cancel your appointment and literally find anywhere else to get your hair done. For starters, this appointment was suppose to be a birthday gift from my mom and we were both planning on getting our hair colored for my birthday vacation in two days which made this a very urgent and important appointment for me. To preface, the only person that's worth any money there is Angela who I've had nothing but phenomenal experiences with (unless you request her, literally run any other direction from this place). So our appointment was scheduled for 5:30 but they had penciled us in wrong for earlier that day but still agreed we could be seen then. So a younger girl takes me back to her station and I show her a picture of the platinum blonde I was going for. She immediately declined that she would do this because my hairs apparently to "fragile." At this point in my experience I'm disappointed but still hopeful and reassured that I'll still get something relative to what I want. Keep in mind I am already blonde, but have taken about a 5-6 month break from all coloring to allow my hair to be as healthy as possible for this specific appointment, which my hair is pretty healthy besides the ends that I usually get trimmed. I request that she do my regular highlights and lowlights instead, which she completed agreed to and kept asking specific questions, fully intending to do it, she also reccomenda a few other treatments which I agree to just to have the perfect hair for this occasion. 15 minutes go by and my hairdresser abruptly decided to change her mind and deny me any service besides the keratin & Malibu treatments and hair cut that she recommended. At this point, I'm taken back because I've never been denied for my usual color service of highlights and lowlights ANYWHERE including this location in all of my ten years of regularly getting my hair done. Keep in mind I was able to stay calm and collected even though this completely hindered my personal plans. I had gotten off work early and booked it to this appointment, which I won't be able to do again before my trip and birthday. I just denied everything except for a trim and wait it gets better - when I'm walking out to leave my hairdresser, one another, a receptionist, and someone who looked to be an owner or manager we're all whispering and talking about me until they saw me come around the corner and make eye contact and completely stop taking and watch me walk out! And the best part of the experience: my mom informed me a few minutes after I left my hairdresser sat down and got her own hair done!!!! I've never had a worse experience involving my hair in my entire life. It was already clear to me the girl either didn't know what she was doing or was frustrated with the appointment time mix up and wanted to go home but now I know it's more important for employees to have time to get their hair done. Unless you would like to be harassed and gossiped about or just feel like wasting your time never come to this place- like ever.
