I arrived 7 minutes late to a 4pm appointment to a completely empty store other than the one employee who was meant to cut my hair, when I walked in I was told because I was so late I could not be seen. This was great after the 40+ minutes I spent driving there. I have been getting my hair cut here for four years, they have my phone number and if being late is such an issue they should have called me the minute the clock went to 4:01pm telling me not to come. This is all especially odd because when I made the appointment I said I may have a hard time getting there right at 4pm... that's ok never again
I was happy when Ridgefield Family Hair Care opened because guys have few haircut options in Ridgefield and my former barber (Otto's) took advantage of this by jacking its price to $30, which is ridiculous for a 15-minute men's haircut. I used three different people to cut my hair at Ridgefield Family Hare Care and each has done a careful and skillful job.
I have been here dozens of times with my children with acceptable results. I walked in today at 4:15 and two stylists were present and no other clients present. They are supposed to close at 5, but I was told they did not have time to take two boys(very basic cuts). They claimed that they had clients coming. Then said they would be closed on Sunday(though there door says they are open on Sundays). We waited outside and nobody else showed up. The one stylist who always wreaks of smoke sat inside while the other one came outside and said their appointment(yes, supposedly one for the two of them) was running late and that they have no receptionist(which there has not been a receptionist present since they moved locations, so how is that even relevant?). So, it is Saturday and they want to leave early means they will not service you. This is a regular customer(who always tips 20%) of six years who will not go back.
